In the west this type of crime is taken very seriously. The doctors under investigation for molestation is stopped from practising medicine until proven innocent or guilty. If proven guilty their registration and degrees are revoked for good and hefty fine is imposed. This happened to a doctor practising in one of western city where I use to live where he touched a woman breast while examining her. The defendant pleaded innocence that it was an accidental touch during examination but his intention was deemed premeditated and he was convicted this bought his medical carrier to the end. So now back in the west male doctors usually keep a presence of nurses when examining young female patients or children to cover themselves.
