Carl Locklear Do u know how that is gonna look when it heals?? I do it’s gonna look more faded grey because on darker skin ur suppose to exaggerate ur blacks so it can pop on the skin. That looks light already & it’s fresh. Doesn’t take a genius to know what it will look like when it heals.

I don't know why people like realism it's just like copying and pasting there's no real art in it just copying and it look like shit after it heals realism tattoos are not meant to last they're just meant for the fresh photo just like how people use Pinterest all the time

Elvis Almaguer i know right realisms so easy its just copying a picture n it just looks awfull when its healed
They can look good and last you just have to know what you're doing. You have to use a lot of black to establish the planes. As long as you can do more than simply copy the photo and you know how to analyze the planes you'll know how to modify the shadows. If you look at the old masters of fine art they did a lot more than simply copy what was infront of them. Today people have been spoiled by the camera and have no taken the time to learn the fundamentals but if you have you always have an ace up your sleeve. Realism is more than just copying, unfortunately many artists, and I suspect you among them don't understand this.
