    A balanced-ish bowl 🍲
    (I didn’t eat most of the beans)
    The first time I made adzuki beans, I cooked the legumes with the rice for 35 minutes, and ended up with mushy rice 🍚 and undercooked beans 🫘
    This is my second attempt. I cooked the rice and beans separately this time.
    The beans got to simmer for 45 minutes, but were still slightly undercooked. They needed another five minutes. Next time, they’re getting ten more minutes of simmering 🔟 ⏲️ 🤔
    AUGMENTING: basmati rice, parsnip, and organic carrots 🍚 🥕
    EXTRACTIVE: organic adzuki beans and asparagus 🫘
