I see a lot of youtubers promoting thredup. It's a neat concept, and perfect for when you don't want to leave the house. I don't know of it's just me but every time I go on there, there's nothing good, the clothing isn't nice and kind of frumpy looking in their photos. I think I prefer sifting through an actual thrift store. Also then I can be sure the items fit too. Maybe it's the Canadian version of Thredup that sucks? IDK
I know what you mean, It might be because of how they present the picture online with the mannequins? Maybe would look better if it was modeled? I really want to like thredup, but I can never find anything :/
I find it's better for when you're seeking out a specific item, not just for random browsing. I found a Unif jacket on there that I had always wanted, just by searching Unif. But typically when I go and just browse aimlessly with nothing in mind, I don't see a lot that catches my eye.

The bedazzled one would look really cute tied at the bottom, either with a top that’s basically a bralette, so like unbuttoned and tied. Or like with a top with a bit more coverage for daytime, like just a cami.
I'm thinking of putting up a "Christmas tree" to cover in my favorite Halloween doodads like tiny skeletons and stuff. Maybe wearing Santa hats 💀🎅 Love to see your holiday transition.

I like that they are recycling clothing but I HATE how little they actually pay sellers for the items. I also really didn’t like that they started to sell boxes of shoes and bags that they had rejected. That means that they were reselling things and making a good profit off of things that they never paid sellers for. I just send them a huge box of stuff because I wanted to try out selling to them again and IF the few items that they accepted sell then I will get something like 17 cents per item. I would also like to know what they actually do with the rejected clothing that they don’t resell. Does it get recycled? Do they resell it somewhere else?
