the part with the spirit at the end was so good i replayed it a ton just to see all of the details. Really damn impressive bossfight. Possibly the best PA level ever??
All I can say is wow…there is so much love poured into this level. The backgrounds, bosses, even the attacks themselves are on a level of detail that is rare to see in PA. You should be really proud of yourself, this is amazing!

Thanks! I tried balancing the effort between the backgrounds and the attacks this time unlike my previous levels, which admittedly had much more work put into the backgrounds in some sections.
Thank you! There's a story with some lore behind this level, but it's all self-contained so it won't be a story line or anything; Can't really continue a story when the world is gone lol. I also tried going for some cinematic shots/transitions here and there.
Gotta say, the whole level was unadultered *fire* (kill me). But what really put this level up to one of the best out there for me rn is those last 30 seconds of pure wtf, amazing job. Oh yea banger song as well
This is so cool (and also really difficult), but imo this is how master difficulty levels should be, fair but really challenging, congrats on creating possibly the best level this year!
Hey thanks! Balancing is definitely hard at these difficulties but something I've noticed is that warnings and bullets can only go to a maximum speed before they become very unfun. So yea I tried balancing this level off of bullet hell games like Star of Providence (formerly known as Monolith), which was one of the primary inspirations for this level.
Thanks! I love coloring stuff, and colors tend to work together in ways that don't seem so on the surface. It definitely takes some experimentation but the results can be interesting and pleasant to look at. A good tip is that colors convey more than just hue, but also temperature and brightness, so if you want to have a lighter/hotter shade of purple for example, shift it closer to violet/red.

It's the return of the ultimate orange man himself! I don't think I've ever seen a level as incredible as this one, you've really knocked it out of the park with this one. The whole thing had me legit awestruck with the animation and detail
