I love the birds in my garden and would really enjoy trying to make a bird feeder. I'm an amateur potter but need inspiring. Finally broke down and bought some chattering tools from artisanpotterytools. Love your pots/glazes/process. Thanks so much for sharing your technique. This will certainly help to bring my pots to a higher level. Happy Holidays!
My surfaces were pretty Blah! before I got the tools. This winter I plan on making some glazes that enhance texture in the clay surface. Thanks for watching.
I learn something every time I watch a Vaughn video. Your choice of music is great. It’s the kind of music I listen to in my studio so I feel right at home here. How do you keep clay off your clothes? Everything I wear to make pottery is covered with clay by the time I’m done. I wear aprons. Doesn’t matter. I’m covered in clay including my glasses!
Not too bad here so far, low of 28F tonight, high of 32 tomorrow and the coming week. Wood stove is my best friend this time of year. Thanks for watching.

I just bought a fleece vest to work in my chilly studio in Minnesota. I saw this video earlier today and thought. Duh. Stay warm. : )
