Gorgeous! Hearing highly proficient musicians play at a more deliberate tempo can be such a powerful artistic expression. The importance of note placement, technical precision, and each instrumentalist's tone is dramatically magnified in pieces like Tale.
Having been fortunate enough to see Djabe live at the intimate Budapest Jazz Club, and also Steve many times, I know that each of these cats can *burn*, so a performance like this is like watching a Formula 1 car slowly cruise your neighborhood with a baby (comfortably buckled in a safety seat of course) sleeping on the hood of the car: quite capable of "showing off", but choosing to control its power. Bravo!!!
