Thanks for continuing to tweak the Avada. As other people have said this is what the drone hobby is all about. And it’s nice to see that the Avata is able to be modified and improved by pilots willing to make changes and experiment. The Avata may be more difficult to modify due to proprietary features but your video shows it can still be done. More power to you, it really helps everyone including DJI make better drones.
Definitely following this series on the AVATA, hopefully by the time I can afford it you’ll have got it sorted out fully and I can just order the right props straight away and have a really great drone that I will be happy with for years to come. And hopefully by that time, someone will have made a better battery that will fit in it without too much modification to it, after the warranty runs out of course lol.
Not sure if you've seen RobHKs video after he got his replacement drone from DJI but from what it looks like, the desync issue is completely gone and his drone was looking much more stable on stock motors and props. Still underpowered of course but stable. He recommended contacting DJI and showing them video of your drone doing a tumble and requesting a replacement. They appeared to have acknowledged a possible hardware issue with batch one of the AVATA. I'm going to send mine back.
@@davidreynolds8551 it's definitely not software related. He was running the same firmware we all have. It was for sure hardware related. I almost bet a different ESC or FC. I almost want to take mine apart and look when I get the replacement.
THIS is what RC should be about ........ time in the AIR , time on the BENCH ....NOT time on the computer and opinions !!! Thank You for your contribution !!!!
Great videos keep them coming , changing props is probably the simplest upgrade that we can do , the issue is you also have a different motors , so even if you find the perfect props it will only be relevant in that combo.
Mr Steele has just done a avada test flight on a standard model , could not fault it on standard motors and props , you could say he gave it a full test !
One video doesn’t make it good. Try flying it a month and getting 50 flights in. Don’t expect a true experience in a single review. He needs to fly it more. Any honest reviewer will fault it on the power system.
For those motors, you should have tried the harshest ones. Yes, gf3052. And ofkos the latest hq3.1x3x4. Because avata is on the heavy side of cinewhoop. P/s: Mr.Camps now, bravo! 👏
@Mr Camps, try a smoke generator next time and put the blades side by side... I think the small props have tip vortex issues although I would love to see some 8-blade props.
Do you think some 8 blades props would make the Avata more silent. For special applications, I search a solution that the Avata is not like a screaming pig. For example the DJI Mini 3 pro is not audible in 50 meter height, but the Avata.
Damn, I thought the GemFan D props (my go-to) would have done better than they did. The Avata does look like it would be unstable when you get the perspective of it with the prop guards off, it's a chunky monkey with short arms. Awesome testing once again!
@@dronecamps For sure! I imagine the electronics are working like crazy to keep that thing stable when you wring it out. I'm actually surprised it flies as good as it does looking at the geometry.
As always you are doing a very great job. I only have one question, if i mount the Nazgul ducted props with the original motors, as i see you have the c157, does the fatal tumble go away, or i still need to upgrade the motors?
geez that intro...they really want us using their defective ass drone stock dont they? Thanks for all the testing. I wish it was easier to mod the thing
Hell yeah they do. They would redesign it from top to bottom to keep all the money coming to their online store for even the smallest bolts. Thing is fpv is meant to be tinkered with. Only way to learn about what you’re flying. ⚡️
👍🏼 Thank you. Just a thought…. Is there any possibility of introducing uneven/unbalanced behavior if the drilled holes are not bored perfectly? Hopefully…. I can continue using my “Let’s Go Brandon” Red/White/Blue colored props in my new Avata. 😉😁🤣🇺🇸

This test is definitely deserve a thumb up!!! Thank you so much Mr. Camp!!!
Thanks for all your continued hard work pushing these tests to the limit & updating your community of subscriber’s
Thanks for these helpful insights! Enjoying the Avata
I know others have been whining about the Avata but it's been a good for me so far, all the more delighted to find out about this.
Thanks for all the testing and tweaking for us. 👏👏
Watching closely what u doing my man. Appreciate all ur testing and try outs. Aloha
Quote of the week..... "Shit prop
.. shit tune"
Nice
Let's put that on a T-Shirt 👕
Really liking your avata testing
Sounds good! Thank you for finding solutions

Your the man, thanks for your tests, looking forward to the 4 blade testing, subbed!
Welcome to the channel CB!
wow, this is the most excited avata mod channel ever.
I love the Avata

I saw that video and you’re right, it does make it look like they’ve improved the AVATA’s problems with either tune or firmware upgrade.

@@MurdersFPV I would love to know how to tell which batch my avata is from, terribly afraid to fly mine.
Ha not if I fly it. 😆😆😆
@@dronecamps I'm just going to keep telling them to replace my drone until I get on that doesn't do that stupid crap. Lol
Thanks for your tests brothere
Good tests Justin
Waiting until you find the right props so I can upgrade
This is what it's about! Thanks!
Thanks for the video😍
Thanks for this test 👍
love your work bud ! thanks
Great video thank you! 👌🏻
Looking forward to see the best props.

I think regardless of the motors better props would make a noticeable difference.

another great video....... honestly the drone should be called Camps Avata
I would be interested about the prop noise as well.

Lol I don't want you to break your Avatar but thanks for testing 😂
Me either! I almost severed the video wire!!! 😰😰😰😰
Hi, Do You recommend this 3 blades nazgul props? (I see it can reduce tumble) Can You send the link where to buy them?
@Mr Camps, try a smoke generator next time and put the blades side by side... I think the small props have tip vortex issues although I would love to see some 8-blade props.

I understand that the blades don't work, but do you recommend turning on the AXIS motors? Thank you for the videos, congratulations
Yes I did the upgrade
Which antennas do you recommend as an upgrade from stock? Running the v2 goggles. I’d like them to work with the avata as well as other drones.
Great video thanks Justin , can you do a video about the goggles that come with the avata or if you already did point me to that video , thanks

They’re so short arms ! Frame should be wider… 3.5” props would have served this quad well

Hello Mr camps, Wich props you recommend me for the DJI FPV drone? To make it closer to a freestyle drone. Thanks!
Did you watch the video bro? 🙄
@@dangerous8333 maybe there is a new prop that isn't in the video of the DJI FPV drone not the avata

The Nazgûl props would be worse with the stock motors. I didn’t find they were gear with the Acus motors. 4 blade is what we need. The sweet spot.
@@dronecamps Do you think that, if i contact the dji support as you said in another video, they will replace mine with a new one without this bug?
Will you be selling another NFT drone soon?
At the end you gonna find best setings for avata before Dji 😁
ARE EXO Drones comparable
To dji? Any good?
No
bruh with the knowledge and experience you got, you should make your own product to upgrade DJI stuff and became a millionaire.

At least with a 3 blade you can get to the sd card slot..
