Slight advantage? Lmao. A 2k reso running into a 10k reso is so slight. Yeah you can do PvE f2p no problem. Of course if you spend you can do PvE faster and do new challenge events immediately. If you like being someone who provides good impact to your group then you need to spend unless you only play with other f2p. PvP can be balanced for SOME sometimes. F2p in certain ranks can prevail, even in higher ranks SOME people get matchmaking that favors them. This is not the norm at all, but it happens. PvP is mega p2w in general. The whole game really is although you can whimper along f2p and imagine your powerful because you beat brainless PvE activities easily. Top clans and whales won't GENERALLY look twice at you. Whales play with whales. You're a peasant to most. Nah F this game. I gave it 2 years, so happy to be out of it
I agree, my thoughts were people that do give money in the game are going to beat the ones that dont and go further with that leaving some place for low spenders or f2p players to have some good matches untill you get that good that you start going against p2w players again. You are right about the whales but I think most people that do play DI are not that invested in the game to put much thought to it.
@@judyreyjumamoy for people that arent looking to be at the top, doesnt matter much, im having a lot of fun with 0$ spent rn, but yeah to have everything maxed is expensive

started playing about 2 months after release, the p2w aspect for pvp is only a small part of the game, if you are ok with not being the top of the leaderboards then that is not a problem. DI is a very solid game with a lot of content for the casual player as well as those that want to grind daily.
It is the only part of the game where there is challenge. DG dont have any challenge, raids dont have any challenge, the only thing other than it is Gauntlet, but even then you only do it once every level. PvP is by design, the only thing they want to have a challenge, so people focus on it, and therefore be prideful and are more likely to swipe. Stop supporting GACHA/p2w games.
i buy the occasional battle pass, but bassically f2p. i make it to legend in pvp then usually stop, but the grind to legend is fun. you really dont need to spend money
The Pvp was wat i liked the most about Diablo Immortal back in the first year it launched, i stopped playing after roughly 1 year, because the whale situation in PvP became too much to be fun to play as a F2P. The game itself is a really well made game considering it was developed for mobile and even playing it on pc, it still feels more solid and better to play than D4 does. That should say a lot about either the quality of Diablo Immortal or the lack of quality in D4. One can have many hours of fun gameplay in DI.
@@Dare538vi Yeah story was fun in D4 for sure. The only gripe i had with it was the lost opportunity to not let the player choose alignment when confronting Lilith.
