Ingest, where it goes, nobody sees but me So perfect and so sweet But the rest, feels incomplete Like the rabbit's foot I keep In the locket, with no key And I can't take it, I can't take this world without This world without you I can't take it, I can't take it on my own On my own On these roads Out of love, so it goes How it feels when we fall, when we fold How we lose control, on these roads How it sings as it goes Flight of field, driving snow Knows the cold Ran round the wailing world And what's a song without you? When every song I write is about you When I can't hold myself without you And I can't change the day I found you On these roads Out of love, so it goes How it feels when we fall, when we fold How we lose control, on these roads How it sings as it goes Flight of field, driving snow Knows the cold Out of love, so it goes How it feels when we fall, when we fold How we lose control, on these roads How it sings as it goes Flight of field, driving snow Knows the cold Ran round the wailing world
J I kind of disagree. I was thinking while I was listening that the mixing engineer hadn't put the vocals where the need ed d to be, they're pushed out front too hard so he's just too exposed. the mix on the album lays in with the drums better. the synth is too low as well. the recording has some harmonies and is a better performance but so much of their sound is dependent of the propulsion of the backing band, this guy's being mixed like the band's in another area code. I don't want to be too hard on the mixing engineer it's tough to do what needs to be done with a board mix, I'm sure thry did the best they could.
I like it though. It leaves Sam vulnerable, and really lets the song get to you emotionally. It’s like what Prince did in The Beautiful Ones, albeit, not to quite the same effect. Singing this way allows the flaws to become a part of the song and makes the themes really shine.
Sam looks like a suburban dad living out his rockstar dreams. Lol.
As a fellow receding hairliner, he's a role model lol
And doing a great job!
And he is so symphathic in this role. Isn't he.
Lol he is only like early 30’s in this video
Sam is a good ol country boy from NC, grew up in same town, went same school. Good to see you succeed Sammy.
What was he like back then? Seems like such a passionate guy
Não consigo deixar de escutar esta música! São fantásticos.
His voice is so captivating and extraordinary 😍 there is no other like him! Such a talent
if Fred Flintstone had a singing voice, it would this guy's.
agree
Everybody goes on and on about Sam's voice, and rightly so, but shoutout to Michael's drumming. Blows me away every time on this song!
Ingest, where it goes, nobody sees but me
So perfect and so sweet
But the rest, feels incomplete
Like the rabbit's foot I keep
In the locket, with no key
And I can't take it, I can't take this world without
This world without you
I can't take it, I can't take it on my own
On my own
On these roads
Out of love, so it goes
How it feels when we fall, when we fold
How we lose control, on these roads
How it sings as it goes
Flight of field, driving snow
Knows the cold
Ran round the wailing world
And what's a song without you?
When every song I write is about you
When I can't hold myself without you
And I can't change the day I found you
On these roads
Out of love, so it goes
How it feels when we fall, when we fold
How we lose control, on these roads
How it sings as it goes
Flight of field, driving snow
Knows the cold
Out of love, so it goes
How it feels when we fall, when we fold
How we lose control, on these roads
How it sings as it goes
Flight of field, driving snow
Knows the cold
Ran round the wailing world

Sam's voice has a bit of Billy Idol in it.
Good point. I hear some Van Morrison in there too!
Great track.
Looks like you need a new camera man and/or vision mixer, I'm free.
The stage camera man must have been up for 48 hrs and had a wee bit too much coffee.

Ok am I missing something? Who thinks this guy can carry a tune? Or that their songs aren't interchangeable / boring? So confused..
Vic and bob mortimer pub singer 👍🏻😂

How are people just standing there doing nothing???
These guys are in the wrong decade
Andy Dwyer good music is allowed to exist in this generation you dolt
Andy Dwyer is a twat
Ruairi Logan I meant that in a good way you nasty fuck
Andy Dwyer is alright
If these guys were on the scene in the 80s, they'd be hailed as Gods.
The sound mixing here is fucking atrocious
He ran out of breath singing live
I like this band and song but doesn't sound good live, the vibe is there, but the vocals are rough and pushed in the wrong ways

ffiftysixx Spot on 👍
I agree, I've seen him sounding better on other live performances of this song.. maybe he had a cold or something?
I like it though. It leaves Sam vulnerable, and really lets the song get to you emotionally. It’s like what Prince did in The Beautiful Ones, albeit, not to quite the same effect. Singing this way allows the flaws to become a part of the song and makes the themes really shine.
