I installed the zanella digital cluster on my 24 hawk x and everything works great except for the tachometer… reads accurate when idling but barely any throttle and it reads all the way up to 10k rpm and it’s obviously only revving to like 3k 😂 any ideas on what my issue is?
could you give me the 9-pin color order for this digital speedometer (At 4:27 where you plugged it in could you provide the color order for each pin from the digital speedometer side, I rearranged mine trying to troubleshoot it but didn't work). Thanks.
Ya the Raven is very similar to the hawk and that speedo should work no problem. Motocheez put a different setup on his Raven but I think he had issues getting it to work, but he finally sorted it out.
I wanted to know the color pattern for the four pin next to the digital speedo meter cable pin hookup I changed mines by mistake I don't remember the color pattern I need to change them back not trying to mess up my stator smh its my first bike and I have the exact bike
so i pulled everything off to install and the plug ins are in use and im so confused every video i have watched its suppose to not be in use and now i dont know what to do and suggestions?
It's been a hot minute since I did this install but are you talking about the extra wires for tach and gear selection? Did your original speedo have those in them already? If so that might be why, might be worth just hooking up the new speedo and see what works and what doesn't.
hey there, I didn't have this issue although mine does read empty far earlier than it should. I don't know that there's any calibration in the speedo unit however I do know that the sensor in the tank is often set wrong. It doesn't bother me enough to pull the gas tank off and risk the gasket for the sending unit leaking though
@@skydcontrol I have a new RPS Hawk X 250 and my analog speedo and gas gauge are - as you said, comically off. There's no tach and I really have no idea how fast I'm going or how much gas I have smh. Not a deal killer but, like, really? And I think you're right - its more than likely the sensor in the gas tank.
Oof, that stinks. I'm assuming your talking about the digital speedo cable. The sensor and cable are a unit. I have another digital speedo with no sensor and I tried like hell to find a sensor that would work and I couldn't find one. You might be better off trying to repair the wire
Ya absolutely! also it's about $30 cheaper on Amazon right now than when I bought it, almost tempted to buy another 1 or 2 incase I get more china bikes 🙃
Really? is it the Zanella model? I'm not sure if one of the leads is a memory wire from the battery, but I'll find out here soon when I put my battery back in. I'm wondering if you're missing the full time hot to keep it's memory.
Bought the wrong one and then saw your video! I canceled my order and bought this one instead! I hope your affiliate money helps, I loved your video! My hawk is two years old and looks nowhere near as good as yours! Good job! BTW the "green wire" is the "Neutral Select" , dont ask me how i know what all the wires do, its embarassing!
HAHA, ya well I've been there. I have another speedo I got straight from the machine's homeland, but I couldn't find a wheel speed sensor that matched up so I ended up with this Zanella one. It's working great though.
I’ve read that with these digital speedos if you switch them to the 19” wheel setting they are dead on. I’ll be putting mine in this week. 🤞🏼
I think I've heard that also, to be honest I just haven't fiddled with it.
You were correct! Just put mine on and set it to 19 and it's dead on with GPS
@@willdeboer822 how to change the settings?
Has anyone tried the kaolali speedometer looks exactly the same just don’t know if it’ll work? Any help

Hey, can you send me an email at SkydControl@gmail.com with your question and I'll see if I can find my paperwork and/or get a picture to you.
I've got a vitacci raven 250. I believe they are essentially the same bike however, do you know if that speedometer would work with it?

My wheel wont vet straight at all howd you get uours so straight. Ive tried readjusting them and everytbing
I'm not sure what you mean, do you mean your rim is warped?
Hi I installed mine on my 250 hawk but the only issue is the gas it keeps blinking like im low on fuel. Can you help me?

Did you hat any problem with the gas gauge not working
No mine functioned but it is a little wonky. It read full when it's full but it'll read empty way before it's empty.
@@skydcontrolokay I heard that before my problem is that mine is not working at all
Try the fuel tank sending unit change…registers better fuel level
Ya I've heard that, Also some say just bending the float rod can help. I might give that a try. Seems like it's either full or empty - haha
Where can I buy a new cable mine rubbed against my tire for a while and now it won't read my real speed
