    Not that you stuff didn't come out nice, but a few notes for powder coating since I used to work on a paint line. Pressure looks a bit high. That is a ton of paint coming out of the gun. You'll get less waste paint and as good or better finish if you lay it a bit thinner. You want more of a cloud of paint going to the part than a sandstorm. Also, you should technically always start your pressure, pull the trigger, with the gun pointed away from the part because the initial puff of air can blow paint off of the part in front of the nozzle. Obviously you can be careful and avoid it, but it can lead to inconsistencies. Lastly, be careful with how close the nozzle comes to the part as the electric field can also literally repel paint off the part. A tip for getting paint into tight corners is to turn down the voltage as a faraday cage effect will actually repel paint in inside corners or dished spaces. Varying the pressure to try to float it into the tight area can help. Parts looking good overall! Honda looks awesome.

    For the coilover assembly, usually the threaded sleeve sits directly on the shock and there is no need for the spring plate. There is a notch on the ID of the sleeve to sit on the snap ring of the shock. This is how I have seen pretty much every Ground Control setups. Maybe for those years it is different ?!

    Have always loved how easy Hondas are to work on, can definitely tell they were built with some foresight into ease of servicing and upgrading. • @petequinones3454

      Were they any good? Neuspeed mostly focused on VW back then.. Always wondered if their Honda line was good. Honda and VW owners back then didn't mix well. Every golf or Jetta had a Neuspeed banner on windshield it seemed.

    • @030604lill
      @030604lill 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@petequinones3454 tbh, it was so long ago that I don't really remember lol. I mean damn, I'm almost 42 now lol. That was when I was like 18-19. I do remember them being pretty stiff so it was hella bouncy. Also didn't bother upgrading the struts so you could only imagine how bad the ride quality was. But to me, back then at that age, it was DOPE! Lol. Also, IIRC, those Neuspeeds offered the most aggressive stance compared to what everyone else was commonly using back then ie., Eibach. I think the Neuspeeds offered a 2.25" drop so outside of cutting your springs, this was the route to go at the time for the lowest possible drop. And yeah, you're absolutely right about Neuspeed being a mostly German aftermarket suspension company. But they did make Honda/Acura stuff.

    only difference in the type r is the rear control arms are different so the bottom of the shock mounts different.

    Brent has to be the pinnacle of "Good Energy" along with one of the top 3 Honda tuners of all time. Tony Palo (T1 Race Development), the now famous builder and tuner of R35's was previously a Honda Guru in every name of the since. GTR's are the new Hondas of this current generation.
