" We are releasing our first album on 21st February next year. It's called Yuck, which is a massive coincidence because our band is also called Yuck..umm yeah so you can buy it in just under 3 months which is ages away but hopefully it'll leak soon. We'll probably stream it soon anyway." - เพลง

OK, I heard "Operation" twice, and now I'm hearing this once, and I can already tell this album is going to be awesome, so thanks to your leak, these guys got my money! I will order it for sure. They remind me of the best bits of Dinosaur Jr.

Happy 9th Birthday to this incredible debut. So many varied guitar tones, beautifully crafted, lush songs. This one soars, my fav of the album. Never heard this version. Such a shame Daniel left. Never been the same. He was everything. This record is with me for life.

my conclusion is that they sound totlly different.
even if they do supposedly have the same bass and guitar.
Just look at the old blues rock n roll, tons of them are the same formations.

That's a way to put it, but they remind me of The Pixies a lot, like a weird mix between The pixies, smashing pumpkins and dinosaur jr.

@@vito dunno about that. I love the music and vocals on this album (operation and get away particularly) but the lyrics in all the songs make it hard to listen to. This one especially.

Trying to make it through the wall: perhaps the narrator is trying to overcome some obstacle in life, in order to become a more fufilled person.
You can see me if you're tall, looking over: if you're someone in a position of prestige, you should see my ambition, and know that I am struggling to reach your level.
And I know that I'm in space, and I know that it's not real, it's just the way that I feel: I know that it might seem like I am dreaming in my hopes of overcoming this obstacle, but I believe in myself. I feel it is possible.
Or maybe it all means nothing. Regardless, I don't see why lyrics or need to be complex or abstract to have value.

I've grew up on a diet of bands that these guys are clearly heavily influenced by like sonic youth and dinosaur Jr so I suppose I just associate this kind of music with good, thought out lyrics. Yeah I agree the don't need to complex or abstract, but this is just a joke.
