Finally, dug up a stack of pics from our whirlwind trip up to NT a few years back. It was an awesome weather, a bit on the hotter side, about 35°C at the peak each day...
We took our time going from Adelaide to Alice Springs, about 3 days with some great bush camping, Particularly in Agnes Creek. Then, we went across and took the very washed out Mereenie Loop track to Kings Canyon Uluru etc. We only allowed 10 days all up for this trip, and it was nowhere near enough. If we were to do it again, I think 14 days would be sufficient.
