This excited me so much that I had to pause the video and make some cards along with you! Your directions are so easy to follow and I just love how easy this card was to make and I have left hand mobility issues. Very clever idea - and easy to make. I have spent this morning making cards using your design but with one adjustment - I have scored down the centre of the back panel of the main card at 5.5" so that the card can be stood up safely and displayed with the sliding mechanism in place. Thank you for sharing. Babs xx

I do have question. Where can I find an envelope to fit these cards? I ordered a template for envelope making and a bunch of christmas stamps and dies back in July from a company having a sale with the stipulation it ships when it ships. I'm so disappointed that I'm still waiting for that shipment, and I'm a new carmaker with a limited supply of Christmas stamps and dies and was really counting on getting my order at least by now. Any suggestions? Thank goodness the fun fold card you shared doesn't require a lot of stamps and dies, but I have no envelopes to fit this card.
You can buy any size of envelopes online or make them using the envelope punch board x

Why can't you just glue the two 4x4 squares together, just in the middle...I don't see the need for the two folded pieces on the locking mechanism?
Because its not sturdy enough if you don't layer it up. It wouldn't hold or wouldn't be stiff enough to slide up and down with ease repeatedly. hope that helps x.
