They used net fishing, dynamite 🧨 and even poison the river using substances of different types. I wanted to create awareness programme please give me suggestions so that I can protect all forms of acquactic life.

Hi for rohu, mrigal and katla please use bait as they are not predators. You can use a bait as simple as wheat flour dough or even rice polish.
Don't do it use Wheat dough or rice flour dough mix with turmeric & you're good to go.

Btw for catch and release of protected species use single barbless hooks, that increases their chance of survival. Learning a lot here in Canada. We do not follow the right conservation practices in India. Just saying
