@@jamesngugi6264 well James- we regularly flew with pilots of many countries at Ft Rucker. They were on "exchange" as I understand. Cool video. I graduated class 89-01 and we didn't even have cell phones or Go Pros to document anything. We only had those huge SONY camcorders and could only sneak them aboard once in a while. We were one of the first classes to start IERW in a Huey. Those birds could take a beating !
Congrats Pilots! Note to editor(s): I much prefer aircraft engines + pilot chatter over music. Even simple things like, “We’re gonna land just past that treeline”, and ATC takeoff/landing advisements. Adds more to the video than any music.
Yeah, I had no way of recording the vox chatter and was assigned to make a video for our graduation. What I ended up doing was taking ATC traffic from up north and layering it in over the video, but if it was full volume it wouldn't make sense. If there was no music, it would have just been screeching and high pitched whine. Wish it could have been different
All you people saying this stupid shit about how you dont like the music in someone elses video that you are watching FOR FREE ... These people are student pilots and youre lucky you get any fucking video at all; they are busy as shit doing their real jobs and threw a video together on the side. They dont have a group of audio technicians following them around to make sure the engine noise or radio chatter was captured. I just so HAPPEN to have purchased an adapter that allows me to record the radio chatter, it cost about fifty bucks or something. Guess what, to use it you have to ask permission from the instructor, and why would they want a student potentially gathering evidence? So they can make an extra curricular youtube video? Forget it. You learn not to ask and just wait till youre a real pilot and make your own decisions. Bottom line: Shut the fuck up, study hard in school, play team sports, and apply for pilot training yourself. Fuck you.
