Diving animals, aquatic animals, small animals, flying birds, guest animal interaction, anything besides 4 large land animals would bring me back to PZ
@@lasschesteven The exhibit/terrarium "animals" are just a 1 second looped animation, i never use them, to me they are uninteresting and utterly useless
As someone who has worked with and trained marine mammals, it kinda hurts my feelings there isn't an aquatic DLC yet or possibly at all. Haha. Aside from that, I would really love to see any update that includes some training props like target sticks or allows the ability for keepers to perform training enrichment with the animals behind the scenes as in a real zoo - however the likelihood that will ever happen is slim. Feeding platforms for guests with certain animals that improve enrichment would also be nice. I think as far as interaction with the animals, the Planet Zoo game currently falls short. While decorating the zoo is fun, that really isn't what zoo management is about for me.
Mabey training would have benefits and debuff it could make the animal more stressed witch means more protester but it would make normal guests more happy beacuse they can see the animal clearly and they can see how smart the animal is.

It seems that I skipped that one when it came out.... I am still playing the game because I always get inspired and get new ideas by looking to your builds and Lady's ones. What I really would love to have in that game is first of all an update where all diving animals are actually able to dive. I remembered a zoo in France where they fed brown bears with apples in a pool, and it was just fantastic to see them diving to fetch the apples through the glass. If they also could had seals, penguins or other aquatics animals it would be amazing. One other thing that I feel is missing is some activities for the younger guest like swing, slides and climbing frame for kids. I never visited a zoo not having that. One last thing that I miss is the possibility to have animal training/feeding as education for the guest, or just guided tours. I remember seeing a keeper having some talks i front of an habitat in the trailer... So I must admit I was a bit disappointed when I discover it was not in the game. Audio guides in the game never seem to work in my zoos. Thanks a lot for a nice video, and for asking for feedback ;) Have a great day/night
This is a big leap from where we currently are. But I would love to see animal shows. Like a raptor show, or a dolphin show. That was something I enjoyed about Zoo Tycoon back in the day.
I love this serie. You are really great at showing what the possibilities are in the game. On that note I do not like you talking bad about yourself, be so kind and stop that. I'm sure your wife agrees. I still play the game and love it. But I would love to see the animals dive, some semi aquatic animals, smaller animals and just bigger dlcs. I'm willing to pay more if I will get more animal.
I’ve been to both Yosemite and yellow stone and many can say they are similar but personally the differences are noticeable. Especially the fact California doesn’t have any bison and one of your habitats seems like it’s suppose to be a look into the wild. I still love the park though!
Can't really tell why I stopped playing like shortly after the australia dlc. I just felt uncreative and somehow it took me too long to get the stuff done I wanted And with the australian part of my zoo I remembered how awful the pathing was and how annoying some building mechanics are So can't really say what will bring me back, but hopefully I can get my motivation back. Worked 80 hours on my first franchise zoo and still needs the finishing touch
For me a lot is creativity running out, and the franchise mode's maps being (majority) uninspiring? A massive flat area doesn't really help me. Some randomised terrain would be much better.
That's why I went back to Zoo Tycoon 2 from Planet Zoo. With mods, you can build something almost as beautiful as the best-looking Planet Zoo builds in less than half the time and with less than half the frustration.
One thing that first idea came to mine, i forgot if you ever had croc's habitat? Or planned to? But you had large scale river that could be use as all croc habitat and use a boat ride. And adding more stones and water effect at the river. 🤔
I really would love to see flying birds and aviaries, big aviaries like the one you build in Koali, maybe I am the only one but I just love birds. No zoo tycoon game had it, and even shows with birds of prey or parrots would be beautiful, and could also increase education of guest (same for aquatic shows) that is often a pain in the... Anyway like other suggested also feeding platform would add some new cool mechanics to the game (and again guest education). And in the end I also would love to see bigger exhibit, I just feel really bad for iguanas, and also some more animation for exhibit animals would be beautiful...
Just an idea, but it could be cool if you would try to 100% recreate existing Zoos. Doing this could show us how close Planet Zoo can get from reality! I would love it. If you do it, you could make us discover Zoos from around the world that aren't necessarily known like the "Zoo de Saint-Félicien" that is an incredibly beautiful Zoo where I live in Quebec.

Also. If. This is if. If they release new dlc spesific on avian animal? Use the nocturnal house as the avian habitat or the new dlc land there. The nocturnal ones was came underground. I ever saw bestinslot use his idea to put all nocturnal habitat underground and send more spooky vibe in it.
Sorry I am a ittle bit late, with every update/ dlc my zoos broke down, first I run out of money, the guest throwed down a lot of rubbish and they where stucked on their ways, I could not fix it and had to make another zoo, with the second update, I had issues with outbreaking animals and the paths getting weird shapes, I was not able to fix all that pathing and I had to make the next zoo, It was a huge projekt, I spent more than 400 hours on it and with the last update the pathsystem brokes down again, guests were stucked etc. I lost all my motivation and i am afraid what the next update/ DLc might bring :(
If I come back to the game. Which is my wish this christmas. It is a new gaming PC to run planet zoo. My comp is blowing up with planet zoo. I use Nvidia geforce, but to download all the lovely workshop items.. it downloads again and again. I have so much it takes 15 min before I can continue. It flikkers the menu to the top when downloading all the assets....
As far as DLC, I'm not really looking for new animals as much as new building pieces or theme sets. Maybe minor tweaks to existing mechanics like continuing to improve textures and keepers and things like that. I rarely have a zoo that uses ALL the animals we have. Sure, aquatics would be huge, but I understand how that's a major coding challenge. The biggest reason I'm not playing as much right now is a lack of small pieces to play with for interiors and whatnot. I feel like I've done all there is with city zoos or idealized habitats and larger scale things.

Have you seen that thing on the frontier livestream? I think it’ll be the grey seal, Giant otter, king penguin, and then the sun bear will come later
