Aside from the Frost Resistance Sets there is something else to have in the back of your minds. As soon as you cap your Argent Dawn rep, your attunement for Naxxramas is a lot cheaper. Then you have the Tier 3 Sets costs. In my server, the materials needed have already started to rise in value......
I wouldn't recommend Farming for Essence of Water. Many players like myself have set up numerous Profession Alts with the Undeath to Water Transmute. I personally make 9 Essence of Water every day. The drop chance on the item is around 4%. With so many players creating dozens a day, that doesn't seem like a market I'd want to farm against.
That's true! I think most people will opt to switch out their armor rather than their weapons, but it's still something you can do if you "have to" or want to :D

There are better green pieces of FR that are floating around the AH right now, and I'd recommend trying to snipe them now before they become $$.

That's one of thinking about it indeed, the transmutes could mess with the prices and people could have tons of them stocked up...
Elemental mage staff or staff off of Skeram can help for casters as well, if you’re willing to give up some dps!
