So beautiful. I was about to crochet my hair for the second time of my 30 odd years of life, and this time it was with pre stretched braiding hair. I had already prepraided my natural hair into the old prep for weaving method, which took me all weekend. Then when I'm looking for crochet technics i found ur videos, exactly what i wanted and invisioned how my own crochet hair would look like. 2 great things i take away from your crochet tutorials, 1st i don't have to spend hrs with the prebraiding, 2nd the seemless looking parting that looks so natural; which was what i was worrying about the most...THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEOS!

This is cute! The problem is that some parts have to be SLOWED down in order show us what you are actually doing. Everything being sped up kind of made it hard to see the tutorial. Cute hairstyle though

Unless I say a tutorial is for beginners, it is intended for viewer who already know the basics to crochet braids. I'm sorry your were misinformed. I will have more videos coming. Which will be for beginners as well.

There is a button on the video that's for settings. If you set the video to .25 speed its slow enough to show her placing the hair on the hook, sliding it through her hair and tying the hair with a knot. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your video! I'm desperately trying to learn how to style my niece's 3C hair and I'm completely new to the world of latch hooking as a means of styling hair! Hell, I'm just finally getting the underhanded braid down pat so that I can cornrow her hair but your videos have made what seems like such a daunting process look so much easier and it was much easier for me to follow along with your tutorial. I assumed I would always have to do protective braids underneath in order to "crochet" or latch hook the hair into place but I'm so glad to have come across YOUR video so that I now know I don't necessarily HAVE TO braid her hair before adding the new hair in. Thank you so much! These tutorials are priceless to aunties like me, who so desperately wants to be able to do girly stuff together with my niece but has absolutely no idea where to start!

I always have a hard time installing straight crochets in cause they tend to slip easily. I just install wavy hair then ill flat iron it.

Truly Shantel Bahahaha girl I feel you. I used the thick mailman rubber bands for that reason lol. So far my hair is lasting a good while. Just a little tip: the smaller the ponytails connected back, the more security you'll have. I just made them big to show the easiest route. 😉

Gen Driver And you still can! Its very simple. The rubber band method is just like how you wrap a rubber band around ponytail. Except no rubber bands. Once you loop the hair through grab the looped end and wrap it around the straight ends 3x. Then pull the ends to tighten it. Take you time. You can do this.

I love it! I have a concern though how does the synthetic hair last? Does it get frezzy? Can you put heat in it! Does it tangle?
daise19 low heat setting, moisturize with oil lightly, and twist or braid at night and whatever you do tie that sucker down at night with a silk bonnet or silk scarf
I wore mine for roughly two months with proper care...shampooing, moisturizing my scalp and adding products for shine. The hair doesn't tangle much and is easy to care for. It may have lasted longer, but I try not to keep my hair up for extended periods of time.

this video is meant for people that actually already know how to do this crap because to be honest with this fast-forwarding that she's doing I can't pick up anything from the front or the back all I see is that hurt the hair is done and it looks nice but I cannot tell how do you install another hair into your hair if it's not even in slow progress on 3D so you can actually see what to do so if you're a beginner you will not catch this cuz I sure can't

I'm NOT a beginner and it still should have been slowed down on the part everyone clicked on to see. Everyone's techniques are slightly different, and for advanced folks, the point is to actually view a new technique; so putting the invisible part portion in ultra fast-forward is just not helpful (everyone does not do parts the same or we would not have clicked on the video). If you're showing a technique then the video becomes a form of tutorial, whether the person is a beginner or not.
