I remember this. I think it would not only be awesome, but a hit if done another, but and extended version. Do it with some Asheville with Jody's again, the mountains, some rally clips, some Mexico clips, some of the ups and downs of travels.
@@scootertrampscotty they need to make a full version movie of your life. I think it would sell if done right.dont let some outfit do it before you die.its your life and credit. An amazing life,be proud of how you are and lived.
I am a 71 year old Black woman who was introduced to you by a friend. I so enjoyed this video and hearing more about your life story and philosophy. I loved your video about Gypsy Jean and cried all the way through. You inspire me to think about my own dreams, the ones that remain as I am closer now to the exit than the entrance. Some dreams may need to be resized. I am working on that.
I have not seen lightning bugs in years and I live in the mountains....... Thank you After riding for over 40 years, my husband passed, and he was the wrench.. I could do basic maintenance but beyond that, to the shop.. They know when you are 60plus and a widow... Chaching!! Then diagnosed with terminal breast and brain cancer I gave the Shovel to my brother.. It has been a year and a half since they told me I had 3 to 4 months left, well here I am.. I had a 65 Pan with suicide shift ..and a 73 Shovel.. I so enjoy your story and wish I was 40 years younger and do what you are doing. Thank you for the ride... Peace Out.........
Anybody over the age of 40 that rides a motorcycle and doesn't know who Scott is, really isn't a biker. Brother you may not have led off to be an inspiration and legend larger than life, but you are and always will be. Keep on rollin' that sunset isn't that far away.
Being a 55 yr old, who has been working all my adult life , I am living through part of it through your videos. I thank you again for sharing your ride through life man.
You need to make a feature film out of this. I think it would be a hit. You have led such an interesting life and are such a lifted storyteller. My favorite television show when I was a kid was Then Came Bronson. This was way better because I know it's real life, not some scriptwriter's fantasy. God bless you, Scotty. Keep up the great videos.
Philisofical Tramp goes cinematic cowboy.......We have all been waiting for your feacher film to come out.... Fantastic" first production" film....As you know we all live vicariously through you....When you wind up on an old home stead, farm or residence that has been abandoned,You walk through the decay and beauty to share it with us....For that i am, we are, in deep, deep gratitude to you.... Packing my saddlebags to move on to Bartlett NH tomorrow and took a break. Saw this popped up and watched it twice. This is beautiful Scotty! Thanks to you, and a few others, I realize there are two components to what I call "The Daily Unknown". Fear, that everyone "talks" about. Joy, that most people never "experience". Thank you for being a friend.
We talked about some of that last year (2023) at Sturgis. This was probably the video that clicked with me to make changes. My life is far less stressful and much more enjoyable. So thank you Scotty !! See you at Camp 5 lol !!
I bet I have watched this at least 50 times over the last couple of years, and it gets better every time I watch it. A masterpiece in my opinion...the true meaning of life. Beautifully done.
I really enjoyed listening to your story, and lifestyle. BTW I think this is your best film production. You and others put a lot of hours into this one. It is excellent
This is one of my favorite videos that was ever put out about you brother. You’re an inspiration! See you out on the road Brother and most importantly stay free!
Outstanding video Scotty. I would love to sit around a campsite and just listen to the story of your life on the road. You are living the life a lot of us wish we had the balls to. You take care and ride safe bud. Maybe someday I will have the pleasure of crossing paths with you.
It's definitely an epic journey you've traveled Scotty, glad I got on board years ago, thanks for the inspiration and and a little backstory on your beginnings and lady's met along the way, keep em coming Scotty and stay free 🦅
Scotty, thats the best video ive ever seen man, i mean that. Your a legend brother...and when its your time, and not for a long lomg time yet, Joe should take your ashes and release them into the air as he's riding down a particular road of choice.... Your a true legend in my book scotty... Kneez in the breez brother.
I was a third generation roofer, working with my grandfather, father, brother, uncles, cousins,, until I was thirty. Quit and moved on to something else. I swear some thirty five years later I still look at roofs as I ride along…
Great video production 👏 Your story is unique and inspirational to people that want to break free from the chains of society. Keep on living free and finding all of those wonderful abandoned places. Not many people could last doing your nomadic lifestyle. You have terrific strength 💪🏼 Blessings to you for showing others that there is an alternative to the rat race and societal norms.
Awesome work as usual brother… This is one of your most inspiring videos yet. This really stuck me! Thank you for spending time with me and my family while recharging, you left us energized! Your visit, our blessing 🤟😎🙏
What a great short documentary on you Scotty! Livin Life! Livin Free! Livin on your own terms! Take care & be safe out there Scotty! Let's Go Brandon! 👍🏻❤🏍🇺🇸🍻
All I can say is," Thank you, Scotty". Such an inspiration to many of us. This video tells the story of how good of a story teller you are!! I like you traveled back and forth across this country for years. Now, at 72 and medical issues setting in, im lucky to make a day trip or maybe a few days. I still love the adventures, just cant make it too long. Thanks for this video.
Great documentary. Bikers all across the country should create campsites for other traveling bikers. Place to rest, eat, sleep, take shower, do loudly, work on their bikes and make real friends that are like minded and live to ride free. Adult males life is pretty lonely. Something like traveling bikers camp across the country would be so nice 👍
Thanks for sharing your experiences, Scotty! This history of yours needs to be preserved so when the lifestyle changes others can look back and see what a joy it is to be free!
I watch many cycling videos of folk living on their bikes but Scotty has a way with telling it how it is and never mashes his words….Out of the comfort zone …away from all those possessions that slowly over time begin to own you! You ain’t taking them with you …..🙂👍🏻
Wow this one really got in my head. I lived on my bike back in the late 70's till 84. My mom always nagged get a job start a family be someone. And still to this day I want to get back out there and I guess safety has me by the ass.

I really do admire Scotty. He figured it out early on and made the right choice. I see the truth in what he speaks and want to take off too. But having two kids to raise now, I talk myself out of it. I settle for small adventures in between weeks or months of working... instead of one big, long adventure. Bittersweet, but as they used to say, hindsight is 20/20.
