I've used both and the Alpha lotion is 10 times better than AmLactin. I even had the prescription variety of AmLactin but nothing beats Alpha body lotion. That acid is great at removing dead skin cells. I towel off out of the shower and then slather it on from head to toe. Skin feels like a babies! Great on feet. Great for getting little bumps and keeping sun spots away. I've been using it since the 1990's . Great product.

Can any of this product be applied on stretch marks?. Personally I hav been using alpha for like 4-5months now and it’s nice and my stretch marks use to be red and dark but with time it using alpha it turned white and my stretch mark isn’t dat obvious like before because the look is calm now and also for the dark spots, I bought it for my sist as well coz she has dark spoil at her back with time using alpha it all cleared and she can open her back now. No you can't! I learnt that it's not advisable to use on days when you'd be going out because the lactic acid reacts to sun exposure and can cause damages to the skin over a long period of time and even make your skin darker. I'm not sure if applying sunscreen with the lotion would suffice to protect it from sun exposure. The skin Care woman said she uses it only at night and on days when she's working from home. So on days when she's going out, she uses another lotion. If you're a remote worker, then this cream would be perfect for you. But if you have a daytime job, just use it at night and you can use any glow oil during the day.

Check the ingredients of your cleansers , I am sure they have niacinamide, it’s not advisable to use niacinamide toner and essence. The concentration of niacinamide that you apply on your face at a goal might be too much for your skin to handle and you may end up with irritations on your face. I will suggest you scrap the toner or essence from your skin routine .
