Hi Steve. Thanks for the question. The Recurve unit holds a number of flash tunes/ remapping files. These tunes are the same as you would get going into a shop, the bonus is you can change the tune whenever you want to suit your situation.It’s not a piggy back chip. We can alter the throttle % in the tune rather than using external chip- just another bonus of the Recurve. Hope this helps.

It would be good to see the difference in performance on a dyno. Maybe a before and after. Otherwise it's all a bit of a mystery.
