Too bad this probably isn't canon, this was one of the craziest and most beautiful MLP stories I've ever read. Beautiful in the way it was written (it expanded the lore so much and also gave Celestia and Luna some amazing character development) and also in how amazing the Art was. That Dream garden was straight up something from my dreams lol. I love the Daybreaker powers Celestia used when she was trying to sacrifice herself and when the AU Princesses turned good I really need to hear that "Let the sunshine in" part as a song. This whole story would have been such an amazing plot for a Movie. This whole story arc really made Celestia feel like her own character with flaws and it also gave us a lot of background for what Celestia, Luna and Starswirl were like and what they were doing before and while Luna was banished. I didn't like AU Discord's design, that's the only negative I had about this whole arc.
It's canon they did it in the comics cause it's too dark for the actual show. The comic writers check with the actual show writers to make sure it's correct ^^

i think the implication is that luna and celestia together are stronger than sombra. good sombra couldnt really hold off bad celestia and luna by himself, just like our celestia and luna we're able to beat our sombra

No, it was the worse ship I've seen on mlp fandom. Hopebra(Even if I don't ship them) is better. Instead of him, Stygian and Big mac are more suitable for Luna than Sombra.
