I'm really enjoying the development of our protagonist's relationship with Alexander. The collecting of the shard of Alexander Talisman will be an epic journal entry down the road.
Thank you for making these, once I pieced together a 15 second clip of me making salsa and it took so long to get all the cuts together to look decent; I can only imagine how much work you put into these videos. Do you have your playthrough fully/mostly mapped out or are you mostly playing “by ear”? I mean to ask, do you know what bosses and weapon/armor upgrades you intend on making in advance, or are you just doing it as it happens and going area-by-area?
Thank you so much, friend. I'm pleased that you enjoy it :) Well, it's somewhere in between, really. There are things that I already know and plan for accordingly, and then there are things I forget or stumble upon by chance. But whenever I forget something, I'm bound by the "natural" journey (without using the sites of grace). For example, finding Wild Strikes after leaving the region, only became possible after returning to Limgrave via Stormveil Castle. Currently, I have an inkling about the approach to a couple of bosses, but it’s never more than just that-since I also try to forget as much as I can. This playthrough is an ode to the fabled "first" run, so I’m really trying to leave prior knowledge behind. To the extent that it's possible :D
This is such a fun series to watch! It's genuinely interesting and has me wanting to make something similar, but with a different sort of protagonist, like an explorer, or some other flavor of warrior
@@dreadingmortality Hey man, I finally got the footage recorded for the first part of my own Journals of a Tarnished, doing a thief, and I'm just wondering what editing software you use, cause Adobe Express is truly awful, and I'm not sure which one to use
Thank you, buddy :) He he... Good. Though I wouldn't call it outright hatred, maybe disdain or contempt. That being said everyone loves him so much it's all the same 😆
All of the praise for the narration! You won me and my friends over with "What a loathsome lover of sheep" being said in perfect monotone! (in episode 1) I love how short the videos are, and good at holding your attention. I hope you will happen upon Kenneth Haight when going to Nokstella, or just while passing by! I look forward to all your future uploads!
I was thinking that Elden Ring would be difficult to adapt to a book, or comic because all the characters are pretty silent and the lore is few and far between, but these videos breath so much life into the work.

Oh boy, that's gonna be a cruel one.

Do it, man! I could see hundreds of different approaches to this from many different people :) PS: And thanks, I really appreciate it.

FAQ in the video description. Enjoy and have a great week
This channel is gem. And I love the unnecessary hate towards Blaidd

Great work as usual, love the storytelling and humor. Keep it up!

Very glad to hear it, and appreciate you telling me
The contempt for Blaidd makes sense in the context of competing for Ranni’s attention but it is definitely a red flag

Dude these are so rad. Gonna listen to all if them at work
Under rated channel
The goat posted again 🙏
Perhaps there is intrigue at foot, Tarnished but, isn't worth everything to save the lady Millicent?
Oh, finally, you finally meet him I just gonna tell you help Millicent she needs you.
Oh, he is going white knight for sure. Just you wait 😆
@@dreadingmortality millicent quest line is something and really interesting storyline. Hope you enjoy it
Best thing each week
Glad to hear it, friend. And for the first time ever on a Sunday 😊
❤love Alexander
Bro's blaid number one hater 😭
😆
Amazing as always. Why do you hate Blaidd so much though lol?
Thank you, man :D And TBH, in this episode, I wouldn't necessarily consider it hate-more disdain than hatred as such 😝
Dang it, now I gotta wait another week
Damn these masterpieces are way too short... Make them at least 15 minutes it would be amazing
He he... I'd love to, but these puppies take quite a few hours to make (12-20 per week), and real-life work and family takes up most of my time ;)
for the algorithm
I really hope mortality chooses the frenzied flame ending
