This is a very difficult question! As Louis Langrée from Mostly Mozart mentioned, Daniel Lozakovich has this ability to "make you listen to him more sensitive." Personally only have the privilege to watch him perform live once and got sucked into his music. But every time after that, watching him on the internet just get more spellbound into his music world.
The piano intro was hard to listen to, if I'm being entirely honest, but Lozakovich was exceptional! I love his technique and tonality, as well as his poise.
Totally agree on the pianist! The opposite of beautiful and soul touching play of Daniel! This simple melody, played by o, so many, sounds under his Stradivari fresh and expressive.
generally great playing, great sound. but i can't figure out why he makes these sloppy shifts on the descending arpeggios, like the three at 8:05. he's too good to be doing that.
Way too much vibrato at times. Pianist not so great but makes an enjoyable performance overall. Not trying to knock it. I did listen to the whole thing. Just an honest opinion. Simplicity is the greatest thing. It’s the hardest thing.
Get a new pianist. He is very good, but doesn’t get it stylistically. It’s all about his own quirky style. Violinist has calculated feeling. Excellent playing, but not very spontaneous.
I'd say, this is a set of masterfully played notes on a Strad, but there's no spirit or soul in this performance. Well, he's just a young guy; this is why at this stage he cannot feel and properly express a sense of nostalgia. The full name of this piece is a Meditation about a Long-Forsaken Place. It's always very difficult to properly play a cantilena, to interpret each phrase, not just to play sounds. You need certain life experience to play it in the right mood. My advice to Daniel is to listen to Leonid Kogan performing this piece and how expressively he interprets each single phrase. This piece should be played in a way that you might not be able to check tears running down your cheeks.
@@magaroviolin The transitions are not smooth enough. I love the way Viktor Tretyakov plays this piece with his daughter at the piano. That's how it should be played.
What is your favourite piece Lozakovich ever performed live?
None but the lonely heart is the best in my opinion
Bach Violin Concerto no. 1 in A minor🤩

Daniel plays with his heart and soul. I have his Tchaikovsky CD and listen to it when I need some peace.
Greatest talent in generations...
He might be my violinist crush! I get distracted from looking at his beautiful Strad violin to just looking at beautiful him!
What a talented boy!

the piano playing is perfectly fine, believe me
Ok I stand corrected
His tune, my god...
Very touching playing-many colours and lots of sensitivity-Bravo!
This is breathtaking.

truly genius
...his expressions make me feel things... 😶😶😶
Wow. . His last vibrato is unique but undeniablly beautiful !
The Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, with its indescribable longing and magnificence.
Just wonderful. Daniel is just growing for every video I listen to.
So beautiful......like a death.....last breath..... seems a adagio in ballet.
Wow his vibrato 😮
BRAVO!!

He is genius. When he come to korea(Daegu)?
Is it possible that he will come to Indonesia ?
He from Kirgistan
he is handsome
horrible piano and camera work but exquisite work of lozakovich
This is so beautiful. Did he just brush his hair away with his bow!?... 5:01
👏👏👏👏😀🌹
Incantevole!!!
🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
Bet he practices 40 hours a day.
That’s commitment!
Why is that pianist playing like he's sightreading it for the first time.
What a horrible piano introduction! Impossible to start playing after that
I didn't want to say it, but you said it for me. Glad I didn't have to be the harsh one.
I find it really interesting 😊
generally great playing, great sound. but i can't figure out why he makes these sloppy shifts on the descending arpeggios, like the three at 8:05. he's too good to be doing that.
everyone makes mistakes
They are intentional portamentos, pretty in keeping with the style
my god...play that intro a bit in tempo!!!!!
Way too much vibrato at times. Pianist not so great but makes an enjoyable performance overall. Not trying to knock it. I did listen to the whole thing. Just an honest opinion. Simplicity is the greatest thing. It’s the hardest thing.
Vibrato too narrow
Get a new pianist. He is very good, but doesn’t get it stylistically.

Excellent playing, but not very spontaneous.
Im sorry but tge piano was awful
