Thank you!! I had completely forgotten about that one. The mom, right? It’s been a while since I watched Broadchurch (I saw it on recommendation after watching the less-than-comparative American version), and it was so good.
Jodie played the grieving mum wonderfully. I saw a TH-cam video a while ago comparing the US version to the UK one and it was eye-opening to see the scenes plated out next to each other. The American incarnation was... not so stellar lol I'm so happy you are enjoying shows from my side of the pond. Love your content!!
@@sarahstamp435 Haha for real. HOWEVER, I will always credit Gracepoint with bringing me to Broadchurch. Had I never seen the US version, I wouldn’t have sought it out. I had heard of Broadchurch previously but I thought it was a religious show. lol
Jodie Whittaker is the actress you didn't know the name of. She's in a fantastic film called Attack the Block with a very, very young John Boyega. I don't think many Americans know about it but it's incredible, scary and very funny.
What you were saying about the selling the project versus just enjoying their time is also a reason why I like watching the Hot Ones interviews, because they have a moment to plug the project right at the end so they don't have to bother with it through the interview
The full episodes are just as good. A snipet could be taken from any part of them. ~ Enjoyed your reaction as always. You could be sitting on the couch w/them w/your sense of humor. 😆
Graham Norton is the best talk show. Whereas every other show feels very stiff and stale, everything on Graham Norton flows very natural and organic, so when an actor or an artist is on the show and has to promote something (like a new movie) it’s just part of the conversation and best of all, unlike Jimmy Fallon, he doesn’t interrupt his guests to make a joke!
@@JVTrickypants Hey! I’m so glad you’re here! Thank you so much. Yeah, so this reaction is only on Patreon right now (as my first full Graham Norton reaction video), but I plan to edit it for TH-cam at some point in the future :)
@@DavidvsFilm Of course, you're doing great. I did just post a suggestion about certain great shows that don't get hit with copyright stuff (Graham does)....but a lot of BBC shows you can totally just watch/react/upload and nobody cares - so that's pretty nice lol
You’re going to love the Best of Olivia Coleman video if you haven’t watched it yet, it is hilarious! Also any time Joanna Lumley is on is a fantastic show! Keep on keepin’ on, David and John! ✌️💚🌈
The lady with Will Smith & Jamie Oliver is Jenna Coleman. She's a British access who was also in Dr Who, as his assistant (David Tenant & Peter Capaldi era) -x-
Been enjoying Graham Norton for decades...so glad you found him and enjoy his show. As a kid in the late 80's there weren't many english speaking channels( unless you were on a military base with satellite) when I lived Saudi Arabia with my parents. Literally the English shows would start sometime after 4pm and run until midnightish...one channel with old reruns. As a kid I hated that!!!! Yet ironically they would show Fawlty Towers and Benny Hill reruns...so I think that was the real beginning of me learning and enjoying British humor.
@@DavidvsFilm haha don't judge me, but I like it so much I *always* do the 'lil nod back at ya, even if the video's just on in the background 😅 It's a small silly thing but it makes me giggle, for what it's worth! 😊💛🌻
I'm a recent convert to Graham's show, and I would say what sets him apart from the US shows you might be used to is the fact that the guests don't come on one at a time. There's a "team spirit", and I suspect the Green Room helps everyone to relax before they come out.
They actually do come in one by one but only at the beginning but at the same time. They are interviewed but Graham has the ability to involve each of the guests as if they were all family. But the best part of the show is The Red Chair stories at the end.
My top three Graham Norton episodes: 1)Matt Damon, Hugh Bonneville, and Bill Murray, 2) Will. I. Am, Miriam Margoyles and Greg Davies, and 3) Kevin Hart, Ice Cube, Olivia Coleman, and Hugh Laurie. It’s worth watching the entire episode for all three of these.
Loved Graham Norton's show for years. But I've only recently been plunged down the WILTY rabbit hole! Don't mind saying I've developed a weird little crush on David Mitchell 😊
I don't know if he made it to any of these "Best of" clip videos, but there was an earlier episode of Graham Norton with Michael Bublè that had me crying.
I honestly can’t remember if I was one of the ones who recommended the “8 out of 10 cats does countdown“, so if I wasn’t, here you go! I highly recommend watching the compilation clips of that show, too. The original show “countdown” is kind of like a Jeopardy but for scrabble and math. And the “8 out of 10 cats does countdown” is like the celebrity Jeopardy that basically has all the comedians from “would I lie to you”. It is shockingly hilarious! But when it comes to Graham Norton, when you get to the episode with Bill Murray, Hugh Bonneville, and Matt Damon, you’re going to want to watch the full episode. Because what they do with/to the musical guest is hilarious also! I hope you watch Monuments Men soon! It’s a severely under rated movie and more people need to see it because it is a true story. And by the way, I love your shirt! Is that in honor of Rose Nylund? 😁💙💙💙
Since you are liking all of these British panel shows, I think you should also try "countdown" if you like math. And sometimes they do 8 out of 10 cats crossover with countdown.
OMG didn't recognize him in a suit...LOL Definitely the face though. Still, I don't have OCD but I'm not a fan of someone man-handling my ice cubes...there are utensils for that 😁 That's just me...
You should also watch the episodevwith Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Elizabeth Olsen and another I can't remember his name right now... but it's also a very fun episode! But there are lots of great clips and episodes! Great reaction! It was fun
It definitely happens being followed into the bathroom. I've had two occasions in nightclubs where a drunk guy has followed me into a cubicle to try on my hat/scarf. In fact, on the second occasion I obliged and got some free drinks in return, so it worked out alright (and yes, I watched them getting the drinks to make sure they didn't tamper with them). Still, Very odd behaviour 🤦🏻♂️😅.
Graham is my No1 favorite. Please check out Karl Pilkington ,An idiot abroad. He is the funniest person ever, without even trying to be funny. You won't be disappointed.Greetings from New Zealand
Very glad you aren't actually doing these as "try not to laugh" videos.....those are so offensive to comics - like edging when we're really trying our best lol.
Aw your so sweet yes I holding on smith again for why did he do that she’s wicked says didn’t want to marry him she wouldn’t have what she has if not for him ! I be glad when divorced!
The actress with the Rock and Kevin Hart is Jodie Whittaker who was indeed the Thirteenth Doctor and also in Black Mirror.
Thank you my friend!! Yeah she seems great and very down to earth.
She was also in Broadchurch.
@@Aldebaron-fp3ef Omg yes!!! The mom! That’s right THANK YOU

Steve Carnell. Kristen Wig. Chris O’Dowd. If you don’t almost die, I’d rethink life choices!😂😂😂

Best talk show host in the world, because he doesn’t make it all about him, unlike some on American tv.

Oh that's genius! I like that concept a lot actually.
I have been trying to find hot ones reaction to whole episodes but there barely any. I hope you do them, it'd be so much fun.
