I think cause sometimes he acts before he thinks. He doesn’t think about what he is saying. He tends to criticise other people and other shows, in a jokey way, but comes about it the wrong way.
Sometimes though, he doesn't joke when he criticises people and things, and he shows himself up where everyone else thinks he doesn't show himself up, and that he's a top geezer, a gentleman, and a spokesperson for the UK, which he isn't.
For example, I have no idea what he was doing on that Good Morning Britain evening version of the programme when they were talking about Brexit. It was obvious that he knew nothing about it, which bothered him, and that seems to be the case with some people of Britain.
He sat there folding his arms, with a face like thunder, not liking not being the centre of attention, and being defensive and aggressive, which is his trade mark. Failing that, he tries to make light of his aggression and defensiveness as if it's all a joke, like some people do, which is a childish, undignified way to behave. It's all very sociopathic and not the right way to behave at all.
He left everyone around the table speechless with his brashness and outspoken personality and attitude.
Him calling David Cameron a twat was too late as he wasn't prime minister anymore, so that was pointless. The people on Twitter thinking that was great, are equally stupid because it was too late, and he wouldn't have said that if David Cameron was still our prime minister.
Theresa May, the current prime minister, and a treacherous cow bag, said it was ok for him to call David a twat. She wouldn't have liked it if Danny had called her a twat, but Theresa and Danny will never meet, nor take each other on, despite how no good of a prime minister she is as well.
So, like some passive aggressive people do, they would have to find a common enemy to change the subject of not tearing each other apart.
He also wants to call people out on saying and doing bad things, which is exactly what he does, but denies that he does it and his followers agree with him and back him, even though they're all bloody wrong, morally and factually.
