Thank you for this video. Did not know how to use Windows backup. You explained it very well. I learned quite a bit!! I tested it and it worked like a charm on an external SSD. However, when I created another volume on C drive, where Windows resides, it would not recognize the new 1GB volume, no matter what I tried. Also, external drives have to be NTFS format. eXFAT will not work.
I have SSD only for OS and other applications and separate HDD for my files for storing. Whether it is restoring only other applications data on SSD or restoring saved OS as well as other installed apps with from USB. Moreover, HDD data will remain intact as before. I am using windows 10 Pro 22H2. Please suggest.
thank you soo much for the video it is useful i have a question i am using my computer always and there new data and settings and files all the time in the operating system I am wondering if i need to do the backup all the time or i can do one time per month or something like that restore point or checkpoint for the system or what ? i need the response please
i used to use norton ghost on windonws 7, made a bootable CD, and boot from there then restore the image i took using ghost. Does it work on windows 11?
What if there are files in the internal drive where we have created a system image (windows backup folder). Will those files be safe or they will be removed?
Bro, what is the difference between this way of backup vs 'recovery drive'? I think the way you are showing here is called 'system image'? Plz help me understand. Thks.
Thanks for the info, life saver, dude. You see, my backup HDD (portable) has a lot of data, of course I have space left to take backup. Question is, will it format / lay waste to the already kept data and files on my portable HDD? If yes, please suggest a solution. Thanks again.
Not work i did do step by step same as u do. System restores did not complete successfully. Your computers system file and setting were not changed. Detail. System restore failed due to an unspecified error. The parameter is incorrect. (0x80070057) How to fix this error ?
If i have multiple partitions on the same drive and if i choose to backup just the C:\ partition with my system on it, when i will restore my C:\ partition the other partitions will be deleted from the drive or the other partitions from the drive wouldn' be erased and i will still have all my files from those partitions untouched? Thanks!
Thanks so much, brother! Love from Toronto, Canada!
