Man, my fishing trips are go early and leave early as well now in this crazy heat.

Yes there were a few big enough to keep but I didn't feel like cleaning fish lol

Is your cork weighted, or are you using lead.
My corks are weighted and if I need to cast out a little further or I want the bait to fall faster I add a split shot to the line.
