A point of interest that you can see in this video. The body of water you can see in upper left corner the thumbnail as we bank to the right is Pearl Harbor. In case anyone wants to pause the video and make out the landmarks and memories.
My wife and I were fortunate to be able to host groups from Minnesota to the Hawaiian Islands 5 years in a row. I'll never forget the first time we flew in over Diamond Head. What a breathtaking scene. I relive it each time I watch one of your videos. Thanks for all your hard work.
My pleasure my friend. I'm glad my Hawaii videos can stir that awesome memory. Hawaii videos always do well on the channel anyway, but I love Hawaii, so I try to go there as often as possible... You know, to get footage 😂.
Incredible video approaching and landing in Honolulu! It’s absolutely perfect! Super clear and smooth. I have taken a lot video of flying in and out of Honolulu and it’s incredible how you can do this at such high quality. I have tried and it’s not easy, still practicing trying to get better with each flight. Also, it was nice hearing the flight attendant pointing out the scenic locations while approaching Honolulu, usually they don’t do that. Happy travels! 🤙
Wow... BOS-HNL... I feel jet lagged! Anyhow, this is the busiest travel day of the year, but my GF and I are happily at home, relieved that we don't have to deal with all of that. Here, 300,000 people are expected to pack the ferries today. The good news is if you have to run some errands, to day would be a good day to do it because everyone will be at the airports, the train stations, the bus depots, on the highways or on the ferries and NOT in the stores or shopping malls, hence much shorter checkout lines today. The other plus is we're past the Black Friday sales, so another reason why the stores won't be packed today. SO... if you need to go to the supermarket, today is a good day to do it. And... if there's a movie you want to go see, today is a good day to see it because everyone's traveling and they won't be in the movie theaters.
Tulsa. And it wins pretty easily. Tulsa has several major benefits for me. First, it's the closest bigger airport that offers a decent amount of flights. It's only about an hour and 15-20 minutes for me to get there from my house. It's also usually the cheapest area airport to fly out of, so that helps a lot. It's close and cheap haha.
Well CA is on my list. I would live to do another around the world trip in 2024 an do it primary in the Southern Hemisphere. I know CA isn't in the Southern Hemisphere, but it would likely be included in a trip like that.

Cool!!! We went there!
Much like the A350, I love the sounds the flaps and landing gear make.

Great fly! Which local airport near your area do you fly the most?
