You’re a VBA library. Thanks for always sharing your knowledge with us. I was getting confused and frustrated with VBA and then you appeared. Your coming has reinvigorated me to continue learning VBA. 🙏
Hi thanks so much. I really appreciate that. I do have a free VBA course on my site, taught by MVP Sumit Bansal here: www.excelforfreelancers.com/enroll-in-the-free-excel-vba-course-by-mvp-sumit-bansal-of-trumpexcel/
My name is Vitor Ribeiro and I’m from Portugal, I work in a very small and recent company that essentially dedicates to the production of kitchen furniture and wardrobes. My job is to design in Alphacam the components of each cabinet for the machining in the CNC drilling machine. Furthermore, I also make the cutting plan of the components for each piece of furniture, in an Excel sheet made by me. I manually insert the measurements for the side panels, back panels, shelves, bottoms and tops of the cabinets. What I could use is an Excel sheet that would automatically insert the components and its measurements when I enter the name of the cabinet and its dimensions. I am aware that there is specific software for this purpose, however, our company cannot currently afford it. This would be of major utility and value for me, in the sense that I could not only avoid errors in the measurements, but it would also save me the work of inserting them all every time for each piece of furniture. I realise that this kind of sheet is complex and has many variables, but with your help maybe I could start to create a useful tool for the calculation of the components for each piece of furniture in a single list. Thank you very much.

Randy Austin sir, This video is very unique on TH-cam about this specific topic and thank you so much. A few doubts clarified one of that is how much useful autohotkey is....👍👌
HI thanks i was not even sure i was going to do this video, since i really enjoy creating applications, but since i had so many questions on automating code I wanted to make this special video this time to help and share.
Hi and thanks yes it should be included, just look for an ahk file, if not you can download it from here: www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/0y2tc218duft53td8mrn4/VBA_Accelerator.ahk?rlkey=xvsax7nth3i95rbhapy7h0mha&dl=1 I hope this helps and thanks so much.
Randy, you commented that for the training videos you don't use AutoMacro. How about doing a training video where you DO use the Add-In. That would show the real power behind these types of "helpers". Also, you need to know what type of MSOffice version is on your machine if you decide to download this Add-In. How to determine this? Open a blank Excel worksheet then click in this order: File->Account->About Excel and at the top of the page you will see a long MSO number followed by either 32-bit or 64-bit. Download accordingly following the instructions on the website for AutoMacro. Before you ask, yes I do use this and other code generators. The ability to store and recall favorite code snippets (Code Libraries) is one of the best features of these apps IMHO. As always, thanks for your tutorials and the guidance you share with us every week.
Hi and thanks so much. I opted for 32 bit since it works on both types of machines for the AutoHotkey and if i created a video using AutoMacro that might frustrate some people who do not have the application and would be unwilling or unable to pay for it. I try to always create videos that anyone can learn, regardless of the version of Excel and without Addins whenever possible. I hope this helps and thanks.
Thanks, Randy. I had received the AHK in your Amazing Dashboards but did not make a step to review or use it. I am surely going to put it into use. I can see myself becoming a VBA Guru. All the best.

Thanks for this! Quick question. When I open the functions menu, I do not see automation > create word doc, etc., which motivated the purchase. How do I get the function > automate feature?
Hi Derek, thanks so much and glad you enjoyed and purchased. You want to make sure you activate the add-on via the addons in Excel. There is more documentation directly on the main Automate VBA site, since that is not my product. I hope this helps and thanks so much.
Hi Randy, thanks for your weekly vids - I have been following you for a number of months and have learnt a lot of new things. Unfortunately, being from South Africa (Dollar Rand exchange rate puts it outside my financial capabilities), I cannot afford your mentor-ship program, though I would love to. I'm relatively new to all of these things, but purchased auto macro on your recommendation :) under the Fxs tab, I don't have the automation, cells - identify and highlight by type or column and rows options.
