- Algerien ist in Nordafrika im Maghreb gelegen. Mit einer Fläche von rund 2,3 Millionen Quadratkilometern handelt es sich um den größten Staat in Afrika und das zehntgrößte Land weltweit. Die semipräsidentielle Republik hat rund 45 Millionen Einwohner und Hauptstadt ist Algier. Im Norden herrscht ein typisches Mittelmeerklima mit milden feuchten Wintern und warmen trockenen Sommern. Die Sahara - die größte Wüste der Welt - macht rund 85 Prozent der Landesfläche aus. Ein Großteil besteht aus Stein- und Geröllwüsten. Dazwischen liegen jedoch auch größere Sandwüsten, die als Erg bezeichnet werden. In der Wüste liegen große Erdöl und Erdgasreserven, die wichtigsten Exportprodukte Algeriens.

Ich konnte Algerien letztes Jahr besuchen. Touristen werden leider aktiv abgeschreckt durch ein teures und sehr aufwendiges Visum.
Constantine kann ich jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen. Durch die Stadt verläuft eine tiefe Schlucht mit atemberaubenden Hängebrücken.
Die Infrastruktur ist für ein afrikanisches Land ziemlich gut, insbesondere auch die Metro und S-Bahnen in Algier. In mehreren Großstädten gibt es moderne von Frankreich gebaute Tramstrecken.

Die Grenzen werden von den umliegenden Ländern nie anerkannt! Algerien war 300.000 km², bis die Franzosen den Haushalt in Nordafrika ankamen und so ein künstliches und illegales falsches Land schuf. Nach der Besetzung und Ausbeutung dieser Region wurden die Grenzen nicht wiederhergestellt. Algerien ist ein Land, das ihr Volk verhungert und in dem man in den langen Schlangen stehen muss, um eine Packung Milch zu erhalten, die auch Geld abheben will. Viel Obst und Gemüse stehen nicht einmal zum Verkauf! Menschen essen Fleisch, weil es keine Rindfleischschafe oder Ziegenfleisch gibt, und dies gilt auch für Hühner. Von den Öl- und Gaserträgen werden nur Waffen gekauft, so dass die Familien der geregelten Generäle großzügig leben können. Algerijenen aus dem Ausland (Frankreich rund 7 Millionen) dürfen noch nicht einmal Familienmitglieder besuchen, und diejenigen, die Algerien verlassen, können nie wieder dabei sein. Europa? Europa schaut in die andere Richtung aus, sodass man weiterhin den niedrigsten Preis in der Welt des Erdgases nutzen kann, den die algerischen kriminellen Generäle draußen gemacht haben. Vor einigen Jahrzehnten gehörten große Gebiete im Norden Algeriens übrigens noch nicht zur Sahara-Wüste. Aber die Sahara hat sich mit der Zeit immer weiter nach Norden ausgebreitet (Eingriffe ins Ökosystem, Klimawandel und so…)

Eine sehr wichtige Information hat gefehlt. Algerien ist ein Berber Amazighsches Land wo durch die Islamisierung und arabisirung arabisiert worden ist. Unser Islam hat sich in die letzten Jahren sehr arabisiert aber wir sind im Grunde amazigh
