    This is not a conversation for unmarried people! You cannot speak on something you do not know. I’m not sure anyone on the panel is married.
    This conversation has become about whose most important. Instead how the hell do we work together to keep each other together and happy. How do we keep each other alive and well. And how the hell do we keep these damn kids alive and fed!! Let’s focus on that stuff . Let’s focus on doing the job together. This and many other conversations are about gender wars!!!
    I think the conversation needs to be had but this conversation became about a gender war and a type of shift blaming. In my opinion.

      I agree that conversations between married people should focus on how to keep each other happy. However, this conversation is about understanding the risk vs reward of marriage for both parties. Right now men and women are at odds about even wanting to get married from a risk vs. reward standpoint. You have women in the comments of this video saying “marriage is like slavery” and that it really only benefits men. The point being made in the video is that marriage is a big risk for men and if women can understand that a man wanting to marry them in this climate with the odds stacked against them, then they should appreciate that at the highest honor and then both sides can put the work in. But right now people aren’t seeing it that way as you can see

    Sons of yesterday are the men of today. Sons of today are the men of tomorrow. Would you wanna be the man raised in a broken household, and how well would your mental health and moral compass fair then? Being raised in a stable two parent household would directly affects everyone’s mental health and stability. The degree of the mental health of todays men is contingent upon how well yesterday’s men held up their households. So yes men do benefit from marriages.

    • @charbrim100
      @charbrim100 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@ItsMoreThanMuscle you’re saying women benefit the most because the husband provides the roof over their heads. How many average households consist of a sole male provider? This day and in this economy most women have to work as well. So that point is trash . (2) saying women benefit from leaving the man and being awarded alimony and half of his stuff. About 10% of divorce cases in america end with women receiving alimony. That is not the majority. Most of these men don’t have or own much of anything for a woman to leave and take. (3) you stated that more than 80% of men lose custody of their kids after divorce. This is another lie. The kids are with the mother most because that’s what the men prefer. 60% of men who file for custody/joint custody of their kids are rewarded. That’s more than 50% chance that if a man ACTUALLY went for custody, he could obtain it. Why do y’all constantly have these podcast and spew lies. Most of the load in a marriage is on the woman. (4) for you to say men can outsource and get these services are cap! Most men can’t afford to sole providers. How and the hell are they going to be able to outsource ( and pay for a maid, cook and baby sitter?) it would be nice if y’all actually have well thought out arguments. (5) saying 80% of women leave marriages in its self shows who really benefits from marriage. Men often choose to stay married because they’re likely to be getting what they’re missing from other women. They like being able to outsource for (sex, attention, excitement) then having the luxury to come back home to the wife and children. Please don’t act like women are the cause of breaking up households, because they don’t stay in unfulfilling marriages.

    • @emac1286
      @emac1286 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@charbrim100 100% agree. Women divorce men more because they realize that the man is often dead weight--just another child she has to take care of. And on top of that a lot of them act incompetent on basic household duties. Lets face it, if you don't do your job, you get fired! That's why most men say the divorce "came out of nowhere". No, you just didn't listen the first 100x she tried to tell you what she needed. Marriage is often slavery for women and noadays women are working too, so what's the point in being a wife when all you'll be doing is working and having to appease the ego of a KING BABY.

    • @ItsMoreThanMuscle
      @ItsMoreThanMuscle  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@charbrim100 Your argument focuses on the concept that women take care of the household and the children and that men benefit primarily from that. This conversation focuses on measuring benefit in terms of cost-benefit (risk vs. reward) so you have to understand the risk of marriage and weigh it with the reward. There are benefits to marriage but my main point is that a woman should understand if a man marries a woman that is a huge deal that shouldn’t be taken lightly because of the risk to the man. The risk being women initiate the majority of divorces and are awarded more in the fiver e than the man whether that’s custody of the children or assets. To your point, most men don’t even fight for full custody because the chances of being granted it are so low. In general, women do not pay child support to a man after a divorce. In general, men lose more assets in a divorce than women. In general, women initiate divorces more than men and leave the marriage in better standing than the man. Everybody must weigh the risk vs. reward and judge appropriately but your argument doesn’t even take into account any risk.

    Statistically married men live longer and make more money. Marriage for women is like slavery most times. Women take on the responsibilities in the home and the men act like keeping a job is so hard while the women work 24/7 365. Even if he's paying all the bills...many times she turns 40 and the men go off to have an affair with the younger women. The women sacrificed her youth and career to be married and he goes off to start a new family. She's saddled with kids and in povery with no ability to get back into the worksforce. Also single childless woman are the happiest in our society.

      In a great marriage with a humble submissive loving wife I can see a man living longer. However rgats not what the masses of men get, and because of that married men die earlier due to stress, resentment, from being trapped in a marriage with a quarrelsome wife that uses the law to back her up. Theirs no incentive for men, and we get no appreciation.
