The big problem is our sporting federation and our league clubs. It’s very corrupted. I know a very talented players in my neighborhood who can be a very top top players and willing to put the work in to represent their country on those stages, but they’ve been asked to pay big amount of money to be in the first team of the clubs that are in the league. (Ethiopian premier league) otherwise you stay in the under 22 team which is “B” team not “A” team as we call it in Ethiopia. whole your life and all those talent got wasted, still being wasted and we’ll see about the future if anything changes. Our sport federation and ourleague clubs are very corrupted. I’m speaking based on what my eyes have seen and what happened with the players in my neighborhood only. Imagine stories like this all over the country 🤯🤯🤯
I remember this match as clear as it was played yesterday, was among of tense matches played in afcon but this gentleman was phenomenal in his decisions. Kudos!
