  • Don't skip leg day! I recommend building up our lower body strength progressive bodyweight squats. Progressive meaning the exercise gets harder as we get stronger! More information in the free routine linked below.
    I generally do explosive work first, then regular squats, and then I follow up with ancillary work like calf raises and isometrics.
    I didn't mention during the video, but holding an isometric stance in the bottom part of a half squat can sometimes make a good lower-body exercise for those with knee pain. Look up the horse stance or mabu that martial artists do. It's similar to that.

    I'm back!!! Sorry for the week without content. The highways were clear but the mountain road I have to drive to access my house was under like... 30 inches of snow. My Honda couldn't make it up there. This is why I need a tank.
    I actually didn't feel cold at all! After a few days of -5F temperatures, 27F felt fresh and nice. How is everyone doing?

      @@HybridCalisthenics i try to build that too by getting cold showers and gowing out for walks and training. But it seems like i got sick now, still do the same things. Is that a good idea? Im trying to recover too by drinking tea!

      @@cosmicdraconian6712 You don't get sick from the cold directly. It just weakens you a bit so its easier for viruses to progress.
      As long as you are otherwise healthy and dont overdo it, it shouldn't cause you problems. Obviously being outside, you are more likely to get sick in general but as for cold showers there shouldn't be much risk at all.

      Even if it comes to violence dude would probably use jujitsu which I think specializes on using your foe's momentum against them and make them fall indefinitely until they just give up after which he would just kneel with them offer them coffee and offer bodyweight training wisdom to them

      We also need a honda civic too especially since it only takes 0.16 gallons every hour for a modern 2 liter to keep all without power warm

      Pull up on a bigger or wider bar or false grip pull ups are helpful

      Hanging from a pullup bar, building up to one arm hangs, and using a handtowel to hang from is helpful! I have a video on this.

    I love how positive and wholesome this guy is! Could you please do a video about building up ankle strength please? I broke my ankle last year and am trying to build it up but all the exercises I've been told to do aren't working that well. Peace and love to anyone who sees this :)!

    i'm a figure skater and we use pistol squats a lot to build up leg strength for jumps!

    Thank you for these Awesome videos. I knocked my left foot off my leg back in June of 2019. I am just now getting back up on my feet after many surgeries and a few set backs due to a nasty infection. Anyhow I wanted to express gratitude for your hard work, and to thank you for these videos which are wholly inspirational and motivating.

    Off topic to the video but like, my anxiety flared up. My anxiety mostly affects my throat; it's unbearably uncomfortable and feels as if I shouldn't be able to breathe. Figured I needed something to calm me down. Been scrolling for bout an hour came across this. The feeling is somewhat bearable. Thanks man 👍. Your attitude and demeanor are everything.
