Aside from Mikey, I think Donnies the second cutest of the group. He’s like a cat. Cute as hell, low energy and my serotonin levels are high, but has random bursts of energy and the crime in my house increased. Mikey has dog energy.
I love Donnie so much 😂😂 he literally represents me and kinda where I came from. Like Donnie is confirmed to be, I'm autistic, and once I learned that the writers confirmed that Donnie's autistic, and they intended it from the start of the shows production, I realized that this representation means so much to me. I never had anything like this growing up, and it's very validating to see it now. Donnie's so relatable on so many levels, it's barely even funny XD

I disagree with the take (people can still personally like their headcanon though but I've come across people not liking the headcanon due to all autistic framed characters being put in the aroace box automatically) That Donnie's fully aromantic like part of why (and I think a lot) of people like Donnie is that he's the nerd character but unlike that science twerp he's got style all snazzy, theater kid vibes, and a twinkle-toed little romantic on the stage reveling in grandiosity with just serenading that cosplayer man (forget the name of that space girly he liked) but he's FUN man don't forget that while working good intentioned he's got that mad scientist side without being evil either just not on the lawful good side of things for sure so he's fun morality wise too with nuclear warfare on the downright riskier side like he actually gets to be a fun smart character without being the voice of reason with: 'What do you think you're doing!! You're adding too much chemicals do it the right way we're going off course! >: ((' like you can have a traditionally high IQ'd character without their only quirk being a sniveling awkward simp (COUGH 2012 Donnie but he's still got a place in my heart) or a high brain powered character without arrogantly scuffing at all things romantic just dissing everyone into romance in that annoying; 'I have BETTER things to spend my time on..' fashion. (That usually also extends to 'smart' being not caring about style or hygiene and pretentious stuff like that that gets to be a annoying trope especially if it's a girl smart character that usually they try to contrast with the girly dumb blonde just getting into misogyny 'i'm not like other girls' territory where you can only be red or blue pilled be dumb and look good or don't give a shit and be smart just grouping girl characters into tropey boxes) Donnie's got the rizz. But anyway that's my hyperfixating ted talk about our favorite autistic turtle and making my top ten list for 'smart person' characters. Donnie is love, Donnie is life. And come on guys, he's the funny guy!
