How did TSA do with the case and bike? I am worried that the case is not solid enough for rough airplane handling. What is your experience? Would you still buy this particular case? [I have to purchase one in the next day or so.] Thank you :)

I too noticed that he did not use the side panels. My side panels look a long time and a few bad words to install. My bike is like the one in this video and it traveled there and back, no worries. After the flights the bag can be folded down very neatly, HOWEVER remembering my experience inserting the side panels… I left them in and stored the “assembled” bag in my basement until it’s next adventure.

Everything worked out perfectly, the bike arrived in perfect shape, no dings or anything. I would highly recommend this product.

What about the side panels? I just purchased this case, and can't seem to fit these pieces in. How did you manage it?
Mine fit in with no problem, they're not the most protective but are you putting them into the bottom plastic piece?
