Excellent. As a printer of over 40 years of experience. I remember all the baby steps i did, a long time ago. I even learnt something. Onwards and upwards Lee. Good luck
To avoid pulling early on multi print, I always start my first shirt on the first platen arm, so if yours runs 1 to 12, make it a habit to always warm up, and load when 1 comes around, then you get in the habit of 12 always being the last to pull and reload. Don't even have to take a second to guess if that white pfp is hit twice or not, just look for the last arm.
😂 Watch the whole thing with commercials. It was amazing had lots of laughs. Most importantly, learned about the clear tape set up amazing. Also I give him a 9 out of 10🎉🎉🎉
I'll make sure to pass it along 🙌🏻
This video was nothing short of awesome! Love seeing how much everyone is growing and learning. Also, love seeing how much of a true leader you are Lee! This is what more owners need to be like! Keep up the awesome work!
Team Leeeee 🦇 “ 2 fingers, can’t go wrong” 💀💀💀
Love the Jay and Silent bob reference
I really like his energy great teacher great student he will definitely be the manager of the shop in the next 6 months if he keeps this up. He’s a fast learner, passionate about what he’s learning and at the same time he keeps it light which is perfect in a high demand potentially high stress job. I’m looking forward to seeing him develop as a printer.
That's the goal. The entire team is growing on a daily basis and I love seeing it 🙌🏻
Everyone in the shop should learn to do everything
Training someone also doesn’t mean throw them to the wolves. They should proficient on a single color for several weeks then two and so on. Rome wasn’t built in a day
I enjoy seeing Alejandro’s expression on some of these clips, it cracks me up.
Alfred dropping some knowledge in this video😂
Jet man, just want to say your one my favourite people to follow in TH-cam. Living my dream life in terms of having the kitted out workspace at the back of the house bro and can tell and see the passion in all your videos. Could you do a video on starter kits etc. I’ve the basic set up but would love some expert guidance if that’s not too much to ask for. Love the channel bro keep it going 🤍
Jordan seems like a really good guy to have around! Solid investment right there!!!
Awesome video!
you gotta try the quick white, been printing for 13 years and its my fav iv ever used.
best.
13:41 Your newbie is refreshing. If you can't laugh through the process, you've built the wrong team. I hope he is integrating into your team well and producing $$$ for you.
love to see ya all growing! 🔥🔥🔥
19:21; the clear transfer vinyl sticking to itself; bane of my existence. How many rolls i've gone through just because I let that stuff fold over itself when making templates.
You would definitely know! I can't imagine how much of a pain in the ass it is to make those templates
Absolutely awesome video 🤘
"Smells like salty garbage" had me laughing out loud.
I've never seen a picture or video of that chick where it doesn't look like she hasn't showered in 3-5 days 😂
So true😂
You should make a bright orange vinyl decal on the top of the cart you unload shirts from that says don't forget last shirt button so when you grab the last shirt you get a reminder
Having your type of personality is good at getting a business going because you can do it all. Unfortunately when you can't you need to rely on others which can be hard. At least you had a situation that forced you to realize this but did not hurt you financially too badly. I've seen companies close because of circumstances like this before. At least you are flexible enough to be able to deligate work to your other employees to minimize these issues moving forward good luck!
One of the biggest things in business is learning to delegate if you want to grow. It's been a slow road but I'm getting there
@@leestuart38 Lee, one of the best things we did for our business was hire extremely talented printers and let them teach and run your production. As an owner, I don't recommend teaching. It'll stunt your growth and make it tougher for you to grow your business
be good to make a GPT model with all the details for job configurations so that if you are away he can use your experience by talking to the AI.
Also as your employees learn more they can record it there and the experience and knowledge is then not lost from the company if a person decides to move on.
Lee if I lived closer to you, I'm in NY, I would love the opportunity to work with you to learn it all.
You could have them write down all the steps as they train so you can get your SOPs documented at the same time. I’m sure they’ll love that 😂
Yooo this is cool
Best way to learn screen prunting is manually.....learn the basic first..wish i lived by u..would love to work with u...i thought u were gonna do classes..i am in Washington state tho ....working at a shop with 28 yr embroidery..been screen printing a few yrs...soooo much more to learn..but with technology i might give screen printing up..screen print transfers are soooo fast to use over making and cleaning screens....
Have a good week...mental health fooks with all of us.....
Just curious, is there a reason you don’t place your pallet under the screen when doing your registration?
Im not too far in and might not make it through the whole thing this sitting, but did you/have you made some guideline docs so people don't have to remember everything? For example the durometer for the print, idk how simple or complex that is but can someone just be able to look at a sheet and know what to use?
I love those long ink knives for mixing and getting ink out of quart containers, but get some clean up cards for scraping out in tight quarters, then toss em. Short ink knives will ALWAYS get shit on the handle, then on your hand. Don't even bother.
yes
Lee, I hope you see this comment as you don't seem to respond to them..... Whenever you have an order, take the boxes of shirts and take that sticky note about hitting the last shirt button and stick it to the last shirt in the bottom of the box. Just do it every time you have shirts come in to be used for a job. That way no matter how crazy it gets, it's on there and when you get to the last shirt, it's telling you, I'm the last shirt, hit the button.
That's a really good idea
@@texastee1985 Thanks. 😁
link to the clear reg stuff?
It’s always a trip to see that chick in these videos. It’s like in the scary movies when the villain is hiding in plain sight. Im just screaming at the screen, “No! Watch out Lee!”
Thankfully this is the last time anyone has to see her face 😂
Terry McGinnis & Bruce Wayne
I'm all for the Batman references 🙌🏻
❤
GET BACK ON THE BIKE!!!
Where’s the apostrophe on the front of the “Jerry’s” shirt?
Or am I being a dipsht?
Dont think there is any auto printer out there who forgot the last shirt button at least once...lol
I dont use those knives either
Beep
