My guess is a motor screw might have got loose and got the spur and pinion too tight putting pressure on the input shaft, I’ve been shredding both my RDX inside and outside for over a year and never have seen anything like this.

Hey man I’ve just built my first rdx. My drive train is quite noisy. Sounds like a bad mesh but I’ve triple checked everything , gearbox is perfect. Mesh is perfect. Have you seen this happen with the rdx? Do you know a solution thanks.

The fact it was the input shaft has actually blown my mind. But running 1-2 times a week. Something has to give eventually. And i cant say ive pulled mine apart for any maintenance since ive had it. 😂😂

Its suffered a severe case of RC hobby bullsheetitis caused by negatively charged (by humans) scale tyre debris.
Only remedey is 180 degrees more boost and colour it purple😂😂😂

reved input shafts have been an issue since the MC1. They need shimmed left/right in the gearbox and even then they still dont last anywhere near as long as yokomo or mst input shafts

I have a 2 year old MST RMX 2.5RS,I drove it 1-2 times per week all this time,sometimes even more...I opened the gearbox one month ago to install the C-LSD diff and it's like brand new inside,not even dust...Now I'm worried for my 2 months old RDX 😅
