I absolutely love the distant sounding effect you made in this song 🔥😤 I turned it up the first time I listened to it and was scared it damaged my speaker!! 🔥🔥😤😤 I cant wait to see what you cook up next Charli!
I tried, I really gave it my best shot, as it was the original idea, but it's all over the place in pitch, so I couldn't make it work for the melody in my head without hollowing it out to the point that it wasn't the gun anymore.
Yooo this was pretty good! Wasn't sure at first with the lyrics sounding like that, but honestly, it's just the BRRRTT making it sound like that xD Really loved the later half of the song! Killer lines

@@CharliMorganMusic If you are thinking of the Vought A-7 Corsair II, pretty close but not correct. The Vought F-8 Crusader was the one that was called "The Last Gunfighter". I am military aviation nerd (and aerospace engineer) and I love that it is a common topic of your songs.
I live down the road from an air force base. I've gotten pretty de-sensitized to military aircraft with at least two F-35's flying around every day but I'll drop everything I'm doing to watch if I see an A-10! btw I love the tone shift at the end
I wanted them, but by the time my editor got to this video, neither of us wanted to do more work than we absolutely had to. 😅 I agree it would've been better but it would've made the video more expensive to produce.
I think the real reason the A-10 endures is because it's essentially the mechanical incarnation of U.S. military strategy. "If overwhelming force isn't working, you're not using enough."
Honestly, I prefer the SuperTweet to the 'Hog, if only because the SuperTweet has not been mythologized into something it is not; to whit, an actually useful military platform that people swear blind could totally still be viable.
I just don't really get the A-10. Like, I can see why someone from 50 years ago might think it could be a good idea, but...idk. It just doesn't quite do it for me. I like my birds clean, lean, and at least Mach-1 capable.
I really want to like this music, and I get the theme you were going for. The lyrics are sheer military poetry, and the "BRRT" sound effect idea is nice, but it also blocks out your lyrics, and that is not at all how a GAU-8 Avenger cannon sounds, though it would block you from hearing anything. These problems combine to make a song that feels dis-jointed, even ugly, and that's certainly appropriate for an A-10, but you've got a lot of fans that want to hear your voicework. Vocaloid stuff or not, it's beautiful. "Don't forget speech synthesis for a voice you wanna hear" and don't block it out with too much noise. Still, I like this as an experimental piece. Really showcases your creativity.
Quick question, who's Steve O'Bannon? All I get when I search online is Trump's former advisor Steve Bannon, but I am guessing that's not who you're talking about.
Yup. That's him. Whether him having "pop" is a shot at him or not depends entirely on how you feel about him. As an artist, leaving room for interpretation is part of the craft. But...in all honesty, I wanted to use a name in this line, and I wanted to pick someone who was controversial during Iraq. I don't know how Steve O'Bannon came up, but when I went into the DAW and noticed that the Steve one came out the best, I was too tired to rerecord and just went with it. Still, he works well in place of whoever I was actually thinking of when I wrote it.
Bloody hell mate. I'm drunk again. Been listening to you all night again. You're glorious. Cheers. I drink to your health, friend Lmao my girlfriend likes one of your songs too, so we know she's cool
Never ask a missile their age, a defense contractor their salary, or an A-10 their friendly fire rate.
