It's weird seeing Rathalos so damn small. Compared to World and a Gold Crown-sized Rathalos where you're like, the size of his thigh. I love seeing him get stun-locked though, that's always fun.

We play on private servers, you can play on either PS2 or PCSX2 the PS2 emulator, but you need the Japanese version of the game, though we have a complete English patch

I started by playing MH4U since my brother got it for me Now I play MHW and both games are so fun to play My mom also got me the original monster hunter but I dont play it often
@@johnsaibot2359 Well Monsters have different hit values for each weapon type on different parts of their body’s, Cut, Shot, and Impact are the 3, so different weapons will be better to use against certain monsters, but realistically you can use whatever you want against any monster, Lance is just special in the way that it will act as whatever hit type is best for the body part you strike, so if you hit the head and impact does more damage than cut, it will do the damage of the impact value even know it’s a cutting weapon. Also every part of a monster has a different weakness value to the different elements as well

@@johnsaibot2359 depends a bit, most people go with Fatalis armour, but high rank Rathalos and high rank Lao Shan armour are also good end game sets, Lao is best for gunner tho, weapon wise generally Lao or Fatalis weapons, but depending on what monster you fight other weapons can be better, Gravios’ light bow gun is best against Fatalis for example
@@deadeye_john I think it might be possible, but other people who tried it were having a lot of trouble getting online, so I recommend using PCSX2 or making your PS2 region free, most people on the Discord just did that and it’s pretty simple. I suggest just joining the Discord and find out how get everything working from there.

The DNS is 34.75.107.68 but you should join the Discord which is linked in this videos description, the last pin in #general has a tutorial to connect to the servers

How can you play online with this? The server was shut down in 2007

it is possible to play online with OPL on the Memory card and with the game on the Fat 32 formatted flash drive.
