Dustin and Teppei's voices compliment each other so unbelievably perfectly it makes me want to explode with joy. I absolutely can't get enough of this band, I don't understand why they're not more famous.
"Father where do you go, so far out upon the sea, and when are you coming home to me?" "Darling why do you leave, as the north wind begins to blow? Will you be coming home to me?"
@Walrusii I think it's in 5/4. Still, shouldn't be hard. That is why I HATE it when audiences clap. They will always get out of time, and it makes it hard as a musician to play over them clapping out of time.
They always have Teppei in the dark for some reason. He's like the invisible band member, even though he's like the second most important member of the band.
I honestly think that if Thrice had released AI as a mix, rather than separating all the tracks, the record would've easily gone gold. These songs are amazing, it's just hard for the average listener to get into when the songs are segregated like they are.

I get chills every time I listen to this song! I wish they played this song when I saw them.... next time!
HELL YEAH,it's my favorite song from them, including Digital Sea and Atlantic
I love those little lights on the ceiling, kinda like stars! :O
And I'm in love with this song
"Father where do you go, so far out upon the sea,
and when are you coming home to me?"
"Darling why do you leave, as the north wind begins to blow?
Will you be coming home to me?"
For those of who who want to know, the time signature is 5/4.
FUCK YES BABY,My Number One Favorite Song from Thrice
WOW! amazing song, Amazing lightshow... this is called true euphoria people.
thanks, was wondering that somewhere far back in my mind
I have a feeling Thrice was listening a lot of Radiohead when they wrote the Water disc...
goose bumbs!!

this is surreal
@EverydayAdventures 10/4. I know it's splitting hairs but 5/4 time signature doesn't allow for the groove to come back around full circle.
@brandonrosas i've always thought of it that way for this song. 10/4 makes sense
Dont get me wrong, The whaler is my favorite Thrice song, but the drums in this makes its so the rest of the song cant even keep up. Fucking insane.

what
It's easier to count this song in 10/4 or it would be one bar of 6 then one bar of 4.
@HalJohnson666 I don't like crowds with no sense of rhythm either. It annoys me.
@EverydayAdventures no, its 4/4 with a bar of 6/4. The snare is not in the right spot for it to be 5/4
lol crowd fails in the beginning

I don't think so at all, it's better like this because they put you on the mood of the element, and it's like four different journeys
@thisiswilson2 I'd rather them make beautiful music then them getting caught up in being filthy rich.
