Sorry if this has caused you any extra work but im sure with those nice silver doors you are much more secure now. Glad you have been so tollerant of the visitors.
Really gives your explore video a lot of Memories for you lot. To think of the side stories you have of crazy times, I'd bet you'd make a pretty good book Matthew.
It is good to see it being used and not abandoned anymore. Or even demolished as is their want. They are doing a great job on the roofs too. Have a great day
I love how you are advising on the company. Great advise. Would be good on them to do tours as such, maybe you could offer to do volunteering and charge a fee for you help and charity maybe? Good on the Director for being so amicable.
This used to be an MOD site right? I think I serviced a computer underground there years ago (probably about 1990) if it's the same place. Can remember seeing people in white coats and one was slumped over sleeping at his desk which I thought was weird.
Sad that is no longer a place to explore but good to see it's being reused. Hopefully they might leave some of the original features even if they're no longer functional.
Alot of security for a roofing company! Is it close to Rudloe mannar or Any these sort of so called abandoned area's? All linked through the underground systems?
They've really gone to Town on the site, the roofing materials are very efficient. Means the site will be maintained but have they got Jordans Fan running again?.
@@chrismcginn7203 I'm really pleased, looks an amazing place underground. Matts drone footage gave a great view from above and the improved roofs were clearly visible. 👍
It’s nice that you are assisting to keep the site safe mate. I think you have a potential role to work with the owners of some of these places with your experience of URBEX and because you are well known I think you have a good reputation and I’m sure the Police like you. You can do a lot for URBEX and the security aspect ..URBEX could be a safe and legal hobby if it’s done the right way. Doing a good job mate
@@TheSecretVault I’m sorry to hear about that chap. They aren’t all exactly known for their brain cells … why they were called Wooden Tops lol… no keep doing what you do mate. You are an interesting guy to follow and I like the way that you are an advocate for good exploration but you also have some good values too like discouraging dick heads into these places who will either endanger themselves others or trash a lot of amazing places. What we need is experienced explorers like yourselves to maybe form some form of alliance and a sort of URBEX explorers union that would be the official mouthpiece for URBEX a and could then maybe approach site owners to allow you guys exclusive access and to also discourage people who don’t know what they are doing from exploring without your official approval or coordination. Might be a way forward ? But then there is the excitiemnet of getting in and out without anyone knowing I guess which is what probably makes it such an attractive pastime
@@TheSecretVault I’m sure they don’t mate, I think with your popularity you can work with the police in making things safer although I guess the spirit of URBEX is doing stuff because it’s there and you can’t always get permission and a lot of this stuff needs t see the light of day because it’s bloody good history and people are fascinated by what is under their noses that they can’t see. No doubt Beno the Bell End is the cause of a lot of your troubles, he will get his come uppance mate
Yes they hgave various modes of conspicuity. They can be silen with no lights and call security quietly or they can sound warning messages take photos and forward them to security or they can flash to warn you they are active and so sirens and all sorts of stuff.
Are they called armadillos because you need to turn them upside down to kill them? I used to work for a company that used VPS versions of these devices. When I set one off inspecting one of our sites and my fob didn’t work to switch it off, my boss told me to turn it upside down and it will stop 😂
Under some quarry licensees there is a minimum extraction required per year to keep them active. A firm I know bought the neighboring quarry as their planning permission was tied to the quarry being active.
Great drone footage. I’m glad this has been made. I’m bored of repairing the fences and blocking off the doorways/entrances.

Thanks for the name of the area detection devices, saw one on an ancient monument dig on TV.
Thanks for talking about the Armadillos. Never heard of them until I heard them on your channel, and now I've seen one.
I always love the drone footage.
Love the drone footage Good to see these sites being used instead of demolished or filled in Brilliant video as always
Amazing, thanks for documenting for us, Matt.

The Director does seem a decent chap. He says he is mostly worried about people getting injured down there and for their safety.
@@TheSecretVault Absolutely, but a great place, and how lucky is he to own such a fantastic property. 👏
We was very lucky we got to explore this when we did! Again thank you very much for taking me on this one! Brilliant explore 🤙🏼🤙🏼

👍👊😎
There's a quarry near me does the same thing , opens once or twice a year to supply stone for repairs to stone buildings in Edinburgh.
Top one ☝️Looks very different now!

Great work Matthew
Nice to see something brought back to life instead of left to rot.
Great video mate
Great stuff 👌
You sound like a sales rep… lol awesome
oh, lol, a body bag manufacturer
Looks like nice place alot of place's are been secure now hard to check out

cONSIDERING OW MANY PEOPLE WERE GOING UNDERGROUND THERE i WOULDNT BLAME THEM...oops caps
Fantastic use of the drone. Not leaving a mark. We'll done to the owners and being open about what's there. Maby a guided tour?. Stay safe 🏴

@@TheSecretVault don't think we will be heating it as we will probably only use it for storage
@@chrismcginn7203Understood. Yes It would cost a fortune to heat I guess. Thanks for getting back to us.
Having a browse o the Stephen Industries webside, they also make ' Nuclear PPE & Containment Solutions ' , under thier PPE and Containment tab.
I keep seeing those Armadillos in random fields seemingly marked out for groundworks. Very odd.
Might be land for HS2 rail that's starting construction

Is that Rob Brydon?
Ah shucks !
Those armadillos look like a binbag would defeat them . The machines are taking over more jobs . It's forking shocking.
Im many ways they do spot people very well whereas a security guard is easy to get past a lot of the time.
Lol Johnson's removals a firm literally down road from me, apparently the oldest removals firm in Britain so says their folk.
Sounds like Rob Brydon
👍🏻
You can still get in. Get a job as a security guard there. Your in....

Geez look up what Stephens Industries does everything they make is massive polluting products lol
You can also look up how much PPE and containment bags/tents we have made over the last couple of years to help out during the pandemic
I think most they make could be recycled as its plastic and rubber.
