Putting the turntable on its side without removing the inner-platter could damage the spindle/bearing housing. Very nice plinth... might get one for my Thorens TD 160 Super.
You conveniently forgot all the faff associated with unscrewing and moving the power cable and phono cable. Any jerk can do the easiest half of a task and call it a tutorial.

Where are all the wires (Power and RCA cables) - what is not shown is how you deal with them?
I still say it's educational.
Vintage equipment is hard
to find & high in value.
I own two Pioneer receivers.
Is that a wireless Thorens?
Не проще битумными пластинами обклеить изнутри? Крышка оденется на новый корпус?
Waar zijn de RCA en stroomkabel gebleven . Vind ik jammer dat het niet in dit filmpje wordt getoond . Want daar gaat het om
I see a larger towel in your future. 😁
Has the new plinth any good difference in sound?
what do you do with the old plinths, do you have any for sale?
