Nice work and excellent use of the van brace system! The hattons oil spill kit might be worth a go in between those tracks. Looking good as always, cheers.
Great detail, that’s my favourite part of creating a scene. Really like the Europhonenix 37 it looks like a fabulous model....My switch from N to OO has started, with the loft boarded & base board construction under way. I’ve picked up a Bachmann DRS 37 & a few coaches (Hornby MkII/ Oxford Rail MkIII) to gauge the space that I’ve got to play with. The plan is to be able to watch trains go by👍👍👍 Great vid as per usual Cheers John
@@NewJunction Hi, Not at the moment, I'll hopefully get something up within the next few weeks or so, it's only trackwork and buildings at the moment although I may even show that off :)
Fantastic modeling, that scene is looking great. I did notice you clip your static applicator to the rail some times and wondered if there was a chance the high voltage could damage dcc or controller? Love the how to video's keep up the great work.:-)
Thanks for the comment Alex, I've got both WWS & Woodland scenics stuff, both work very well. I tend to lean towards the WWS applicator and layering spray.
Hey Richard (or anyone who knows) what does that grass layering spray do? Is it so you can add further colours or is it to gain height or something. I'm assuming it's just some kind of adhesive, never seen anything of the sort down here in Australia.
@@NewJunction I was thinking the same thing no way of getting the van in or out of where it is, you should have made an access for the van to get in and our at the other end maybe had a bridge over the rail lines for the van to get from the nearest road to the works compound where it now is.
Don't forget to keep up with all the latest news and behind the scenes stuff at the New Junction Facebook page:

Great video. ☺️
The lights give layouts that extra bit of realism. It looks really good.
Yes, it's nice getting rid of plain baseboards too
Cracking little scene developing there Richard and those lights have just added another dimension. Great stuff. Paul
Thanks Paul! Not quite your level of modelling but I'm happy! :-)
Looking real good. Nice work. Love the lights.
Thanks Norman, getting there slowly & yes lights oddly add a certain something.
Hi Richard, the pilot sidings look brilliant, love the finishing touches. Thanks for pointing out the second set of gates! :-) Great work.
The most asked question last week is where the van came from haha
Nice work and excellent use of the van brace system! The hattons oil spill kit might be worth a go in between those tracks. Looking good as always, cheers.
Cheers Richard, Another going over of the finer details me thinks!
You make it look so easy. Carry on the great work.
If I can do it, anyone can do it Martin, messy modelling!
Awesome job Richard!! Looks very nice! Well done! Cheers Onno.
Thanks Onno!
Nice work. I have found using wooden clothes pins to hold when installing lamps works well.
Top tip, thanks Peter
Nice work. The lamps add a good bit of realism to the area 👍
Yeah it's such an improvement
Really interesting- Fantastic detail - looks amazing !
Thanks!
Great work it looks superb.
Thanks!
Great work as usual. Perfect timing now I’m starting to add scenery to my layout! Great video!
Thanks Josh!
Fantastic work Richard.
Thanks pal!
Your bracing is the best that I’ve seen over all the modellers I watch
My Bracing?
@@NewJunction the vans
@@vincentweatherly9991 Gotcha! They were to hand lol
Nice to see it complete. :-) Atmosphere in the dark too. Music makes me want to order a takeway lol. Nice alternative use of the vans! Cheers. Dave
It's the only way to justify lots of Van's! You'll have to take me to this takeaway when I visit, sounds great! ;-)
I'd be happy with your pilot sidings as my main layout! Great work!
Far to kind Alex!
@@NewJunction I love the rest of your layout as well obviously 😉
Great Video Richard, looks fantastic

Great news John and thanks for the comment, now all you need is to film it all haha
Coming together more and more with every video
Indeed it is!
looks fantastic Richard very nice work you've done there :)
Thanks! :)
Looks awesome! You may wanna blob of paint on your red dropper wire to hide it but other than that (& that’s being really picky) it’s superb great job
Track painting may be next :D
Scene is coming together nicely.
Great stuff as always Richard.
Cheers Tim!
Another great video. Terrific layout.
Thanks Charles!

Richard awesome video as per usual. I love the europheonix class 37
Thanks & yes its a great engine!
That pilot sidding is the bomb Richard. Looks very realistic.😎😎
Ha thanks Paul!
@@NewJunction your welcome richard
Double decker vans !!! Why not .. lol .. the lamps are impressive
Haha its practical and to hand.
The lights are fantastic and really complete the area. Was there a reason you didn't apply the static charge to the glue? 👍👍👍
Works either way I find.
Very nice everything you create! 😉
Thanks!
Eee, why ya bugga, that looks champion man.
Very kind of you Robert!
You’ve done some great stuff there Richard 👌😎...... regards Fred
Thanks Fred, got to get finished before biking season starts ;)
New Junction I’ve two weeks to wait now 👌😎
@@FredWilbury when we meeting up for a bike date? Lol
Very nice layout there, do like the tail chasers, I have a similar set up BR Blue N Gauge.
Nice, any footage on TH-cam?

Think I need to get me a proper static grass applicator like this one 🤔
Scene is looking real cool buddy 😉👍

Thanks Pal, next weeks going to be a Cheeky production ;-) #affiliate #spon
Lol 😘

Love the how to video's keep up the great work.:-)
The power to the track is always of during scenic work, not sure if that helps or not haha
Those lights add so much to the scene, fantastic.
Loving the WWS grass, would you rate those over woodland scenics?

Hi Gerry,
Yes it's so you can add extra layers and colours, very effective.
super job looks great
Thanks!
Looking good keep up the good work.
Thanks Jack
Amazing video mate !
Thanks!
Great video it looks great
Thanks David!
Apart from you placing it there. How would the white transit drive to that position?
Sorry had not seen second gate.
Chinook helicopter I thought! ;-)
great job
Cheers!
Hi there Richard I’m thinking about putting my layout on benches rather than the floor what benches did you you use and from where did you buy them ?
Mine is on legs made from 2x2 timber.
Really looking the part now...
Thanks, it's getting there!
Nice work mate I got a model railway and I got the EUROPHOENIX class 37884 by the way have you been to kent before
Good stuff ! 👍
Thanks pal!
It would be good to have a hand point lever at the point
yep on route!
Looks ok mate
Just okay? I'll try harder next time lol
Superb.
Thanks Oscar
Best use for a van ever 😂
That's what they're for!
Did you make those network rail coaches or buy the, already like that ?
Cameron over at 'The weathering Shed' did a custom respray for me, I also did a video on it a while back. :)
very nice
Did you see the other gate! ;-)
@@NewJunction ah hah !
Looks good but how does the van get to where you placed it without an access road? Helicopter pickup and delivery! lol

@@philipbutcher1971 it's not finished yet lol
very nice..
Thankyou!
Can we see some more action of your cross country trains please thanks
Coming soon!
When you say "Pilot Loco" what is the role of a pilot loco at a station? Thank you for another enjoyable vid
A Pilot loco is in essence an emergency loco or spare should a train fail and block the mainline. Also known as a Thunderbird :-)
New Junction thanks for that
Are you going to the Derby excebition?
Sadly I doubt it, can't get the time off work!
WhY does that machine do at 8:55
Its a static grass applicator
