About the song:
Titled "do your best", this song focuses on the duality of the phrase. Usually meant as words of encouragement, it can also act as an additional layer of pressure, leaving room for burnout or perfectionism. Paired with self-doubt and comparison, this song arches in a way where you can feel the sense of encasement of the singer in the verse, but they slowly try to break out by calling out the "voice in their head that says 'never enough'" in the chorus section. (This song could be directed at someone or yourself(self-doubt); always up for interpretation!)

In a beautiful mountain village with a plethora of kitties, καλημέρα, and story-filled ruins, I met beautiful artists and creatives, drawing inspiration from their works and motivations, and bathed myself in the beauty of Crete, Greece. For the final exhibition, I performed 3 self-written songs and an improvisational dance/music performance. This is part 2/3 of the original works I created during my time at the residency.
