Dell dropped a great pass by Stroud that if he gets he likely takes it all the way. Plus the fumble near the goal line was by a guy who was only in the game because the Texans 2 running backs were hurt.
Cole Kmet didn’t miss one, they asked a mid tier speed tight end TO COME IN MOTION, and catch Will Anderson on the edge like that’s a normal assignment. That’s was a dumb play call. The line is atrocious. But the play calling for the types of protection we are giving is ridiculous.
I just want to point out that CJ didn’t have a line and arguably had the worst line of all playoff teams considering he never played with the same front 5 in multiple games. Also CJ threw 192 passes before he threw his first pick. So some of it is definitely on QB play.
This is what no one seems to mention about Stroud. Houston's O line were all injured for the first 3 or 4 games last season and Stroud was still putting up respectable numbers. Panthers and Bears fans are going to blame the O-lines for the poor QB play by the rookies.
