Never discussed the powerplant. Although the series is called Formula E, the powerplants are a hybrid of traditional hydrocarbon combustion and electric. Would have liked to hear more about that.
Formula E is all electric. Formula 1 uses a hybrid drive/energy recorvery system though. Electric motors drive the rear wheels during acceleration, and an electric motor drives the turbo charger to maintain boost through low RPM.
There is also a problem with regard to the "marble waste (MW) of tire rubber (TR)" on the circuit roads. If the intensity as well as the sustainability of the environmentally friendly tire rubber will be realised enough, it will be the best tires for the Formula One.
FIA should remove the wheel covers. This would make the cars more aware while driving similar to F1 while also deterring unnecessary contact with the other cars. If not - the races will continue to look like bumper cars. The drivers need that risk of loosing a wheel or damaging the suspension if contact is made. Take notes from F1.
Please walk away from this series. Battery is like plastic grocery bags. 'Hey let's use plastic to save trees... but trees are a renewable resource and what will we do with the plastic bags?' 🤔 All these battery cars will be the same. Hydrogen is the real future of transportation. VW/Porsche could make this happen. There will never be enough clean energy to power the transportation needs of the battery world.
Current battery technology has nowhere near the performance AND range that today's IC engines provide. That's not to say they "might" someday, but that day is a long way off. Most people buy electrics as a virtual signaling device. For long trips, they keep a traditional IC vehicle on hand. Hydrogen has its own problems, it doesn't exist in a free state and takes considerable energy to break its common chemical bonds. It also has to be stored as a liquid, which means cryogenics, which means weight, which means...in short the IC engine is here to stay for a long time.
GOD BLESS EVERYONE AT PORSCHE. I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU AND VERY HAPPY FOR YOU. I HOPE ALL OF YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE MY FRIENDS. I HOPE YOU HAD THE BEST AND HAPPIEST CHRISTMAS OF YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. I LOVE PORSCHE. 🙏
As stated in the video, there is much in the way of Porsche or any other manufacturer in these vehicles. FIA controls the manufacturing of most of the cars which limits innovation and performance.
Really nice video but why does he get an transcript..?! I think he is clearly understandable
Clearly understandable if you speak English.
Maybe for deaf people
@@PietroShitzberg I'm not a native speaker eighter.. but his voice is understandable and since he speaks English I don't get your point
@@PietroShitzberg exactly.
The inspiration behind freedom of life is God's given !
❤️ Porsche ❤️ Performance in all Details 🦾

Woww nice Sir
Wow nice
good project
Is bodywork only made by one manufacturer (Dallara) or all team can made bodywork by themself?
Very nice
Nice❤
Is this car built with LG Chem battery tech?
Who is building the electric motor(s) for this car?
Good 👍
Cool
