Its very important that you show us that sometimes you fail or thats not exactly what you wanted. It gives us more self confidence and shows us thats ok to go wrong sometimes.❤
@@fibrescapes1111truly a pleasure. By the way, your perspective is truly amazing. That is something I often struggle with or haven't quite developed in a way I'm wanting to achieve. Not giving up. Seeing your process really helps I must say. And your eye for detail, placement, shape, color and creating movement is awe inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us, Shelley.
Thanks so much! It's through Van Gogh that I found this medium. I made a collage of his Starry Night, and used yarn to mimic his brush strokes in the sky. That was the beginning of my working with yarn in this way! 💛
Absolutely, you can definitely try this on a smaller scale. The glue I use is gel medium (an artist's medium for acrylic paints), but you could also use regular white glue. Enjoy!

Wow, thank you for sharing your process and your amazing artwork!
I appreciate your support, Shannon. Thank-you! 💐
I dont know how you make it without at least drawing the main lines on your panel before you start glueing the yarn. It blows my mind❤
Aw thanks for the compliment, but actually I do put some lines to guide me on most of these. They may just be too faint to appear on screen.👍
This is gorgeous. Never seen anything like it. Especially when you make the tiny leaves. So many varieties of colours!❤
Thanks so much Anne 😊
Its the process that counts like à voyage.😊
So true! 💛
Absolutely beautiful ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
So excited!
Haha! You're sweet. Thanks, Stephanie 😊

I'm sorry I just saw this reply now, Stephanie. Thanks for your kindness. I love what you do! 💗
Makes me think of van gogh paintings with his round undulated paint brush strokes

Its so dense. One wants to dive in this moss
Nice of you to say! Thank-you 💚
What kind of glue are you using, it is so thick? This looks like a great program on a smaller scale.
